Camping and the beach...two of the best things in the world! I'm in Kentucky so we camp often but I'm nowhere near and ocean! We camped during a tornado warning last year Father's Day weekend. It was intense!! Our canopy almost blew away but our tent did really well and stayed dry. We hunkered down in the car during the worst part. There were storms and thunder and lightning all night! My 11 year old daughter and dog hate storms...I felt so bad for them!
I could have sat in the swing forever. You have the sweetest husband. Eating is half the fun of traveling! Great video!❤

I love The Christmas Tree Shoppe! They’re actually the discount store for Bed, Bath and Beyond.
This is a much better trip than last years, I felt so bad for you guys last year. I always find the Krusteaz brand foods at Big Lots you might look there if you can't find it.

Oh my! If you all went to the Ark in Kentucky. I'm only 8 miles or so from there. Nice place. Love the beach. Looks like you guys had a great time. Even with the rain. That's all its done here for May and June. Now comes the heat.

I had so much fun on your vacation. Glad the weather was pretty good through most of it. I never have been able to camp much because of my allergies. It always makes me sick. But I would love to be able to do that. Glad you got to stock up on Blue Bell and Kusteaz! We all need a little sugar in our life. Mine has too much! Stay safe, stay well. God bless.

We’ve done a lot of camping over the years and we have enjoyed it but I think I’m ready for a camper. Not a big one. Just something to put all our stuff in and go! My son wants to learn how to surf this year. Looks like a fun trip!

I saw this video posted last night but made myself wait until this morning so I could watch it while having my coffee and I could savor every minute of it. It was worth it! Jaxon made me laugh when he was twisted up in the hammock. The Boardwalk at night is such fun. Nothing better than stopping somewhere yummy to eat and getting in a little shopping on the trip home. BTW, I tried your trick to hang pictures. You showed how to use a piece of painters tape and mark where the nails should go. I did it to hang two things and it worked perfectly! Thank you!

It’s always so fun vacationing with family and friends. The beach is my happy place. My youngest son just moved to Richmond, I’ll be definitely looking for the Christmas tree shop . It was wonderful seeing everyone having such a great time!

I'm so glad you all had a good time! I was born in Pa but we moved to Virginia Beach right after I was born til I was 4. We moved around a lot. I also lived in Texas to but those Crabs there get aggressive at night. I'm petrified of them. My dad's on hospice and he wants to go there 1 more time before he passes away. So I'm going to try and take him it's just really hard with him.

I know how you feel with the ice cream. I use to love Blue Bunny when we would visit my son at Fort Bliss in Texas. Now they have that ice cream here in Long Beach. I am a sucker for Blue bunny vanilla.
