@@ericraedel1181 not exactly true. Bc neptabyss has a lot of ways to interact with the other water cards in your hand even if he gets interrupted. For instance, if you open minstrel neptabyss. You can normal neptabyss, send goons. If they ht nept, you get shadow squad and then minstrel. Same scenario with diva, doesnt work. Other similar examples are rhine and teus. Not bashing diva. She is an amazing starter if she goes through, but gets hit by every ht, youd never summon her over neptabyss (unless your hand is full gas), plays worse into fuwalos, and has limited interactivity with the rest of the cards. Still 3 extra starters though.
I resolved diva every time I saw it. Crazy going 2nd lowkey. Theory is diva is like snake eyes ash or dark beckoning beast. Insane power level but looses to hand traps but you need those cards.
@@Zssprime I see your point. Neptabyss is for sure the better card overall, since it has multiple uses. But I feel diva is still a relevant starter, perhaps it's more just different theory on crafting the deck.
Very nice deck list. I kind of figured this deck could do 50 cards with how much consistency you have. Not to mention making sure it's harder to draw those bricky 1 of cards. Still this looked great and you made a good case for diva. I think 3 in a 50-card version works well. Cool that triple tactic talents is good in this deck. Glad to hear that. And I'm glad you played megalo. While its ok going first, its actually great going 2nd to pressure your opponent when you can search it off dragoons so easily. Also, the non-water cards in the extra deck where nice to know for helping this deck go 2nd. I feel like this deck isn't as bad going 2nd as people say it is. I think you have a fair shot if you play well sometimes. I can't wait for the new Poseidra card thats coming out. That card will help the deck going 2nd for sure. Maybe you should try tidal though, since you could drop it off of the rank 7 Poseidra and otk easier. Not to mention it's a decent extender if you draw it or the grind game. Overall, great list. Congratulations on your top 16.

To be honest this is probably one of the hardest decks I’ve had a ton of build. I have some regional tops coming. Sucks I threw away my game 3 against snake eyes but that’s why we keep learning!
Nice job and deck profile! When you mentioned that Abyssalacia could special summon back Toad from the grave, I believe that is incorrect since it was not properly xyz summoned and was instead specialed off of Bahamut.
@@MythicGamestcg No problem! It's a common mistake like how people think Levirtrue dragon activates Mermail King or the Atlantean it detaches, but it doesn't since Levirtrue detaches for effect and not cost.
How do you feel about small world as opposed to Diva? The deck has a lot of bridges to search any monster in the deck, especially with the handtraps, there's just too many hands where I feel like you have to commit your ns to a monster like Pike or Nepta because you get better value out of those cards since they pitch from hand or deck as cost. Although if you're still on Diva you could consider playing crocodragon since you have easy access to it with Abyssteus + diva and potentially draw into another combo piece + end on an interruption.
What about Primadona? Why wouldn’t you want to do that to permanently keep the banished card of minstrel or barrier statue or for making an additional rank 4
@@steveklaus669 I’ve played primadonna for a while before this. Barrier statue is just win more. If you are already to that point in the combo you are already winning. Yea shuffling the banished card is nice but normally you are just hitting a hand trap off minstrel anyways and turns into a dead card. So I’d rather use my resources to make something else

THANK YOU. Diva at 3 is still combo given it resolves. Minstrel helps it resolve. Sure it'll get handtrapped, but it is still neptabyss 4, 5, and 6.
