      That's a fair approach. With so much uncertainty and mixed messages, it's understandable to wait for concrete evidence before believing any claims. When it comes to financial relief or government payments, it’s best to rely on official sources and confirmed announcements.

      You’re right; it can feel disheartening when payments are labeled as additional support but end up being just the regular monthly disbursement. Everyone deserves financial stability, especially those who have contributed over the years. If you have any other thoughts or questions, I’m here to help.

    It will only benefit you if you don't have bills... You still have to pay bills for Sept. So how is it helpful?

    • @HowToGuys
      @HowToGuys  2 місяці тому

      Receiving two payments in one month, with one being an advance for the next month, doesn't necessarily provide extra money; it simply changes the timing of when you receive your funds. This can make budgeting more challenging because you still need to cover your expenses for both months.
      Here’s how you can manage it:
      Budget Wisely: Plan your budget to ensure you have enough to cover your expenses in both months.
      Set Aside Funds: If possible, set aside part of the early payment to use for the next month's bills.
      Seek Assistance: If this timing shift causes hardship, consider reaching out to local resources or social services for temporary help.
      Proper planning can help ensure you manage your expenses despite the payment schedule change.

      I understand your frustration. The amount you receive from SSI (Supplemental Security Income) or SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) can vary based on your individual circumstances, including work history, additional income, and living situation. Here are a few suggestions that might help:
      Review Benefits: Make sure you’re receiving all the benefits you qualify for, such as SNAP (food assistance) or housing aid.
      Budgeting Assistance: Seek help from a financial advisor or a nonprofit organization to create a budget and manage expenses more effectively.
      Community Resources: Look into local community resources like food banks, charities, or other assistance programs that can help with everyday needs.
      Work Incentives: If possible, explore work incentive programs that allow you to work part-time while still receiving benefits.
      It might also help to connect with others in similar situations for support and advice.

    That’s what I suggested for retirement checks ! One month before we receive our check is long wait! ! Bills and food medicines is our needs! Retirement pensions ! It can be split 15 and 30 of every month! That will help us financially

    • @HowToGuys
      @HowToGuys  2 місяці тому

      That’s a great suggestion! Splitting retirement payments into two distributions per month could indeed make it easier to manage ongoing expenses like bills, food, and medications. It would help smooth out the financial flow and reduce the long wait between payments. Advocating for such changes could be beneficial for many retirees facing similar challenges. If you’re passionate about this idea, it might be worth discussing it with advocacy groups or local representatives to see if any action can be taken.

    Try living in $1000 a month it’s 2 kids and a single mom. I never have enough money to have a decent car let alone take my kids on a vacation. No child support ever. I walked away from a house, cars,4 wheeled, a motorcycle, and k had just put a $10,000.00 outdoor wood stove in. I’ll never have my own house again. My ex ran off with my best friend and I live on this fixed income with 2 college students and k e never taken them on a trip anywhere because I got hurt at work really bad and I’m permanently disabled. You lose hope and you have nothing to look forward to!! It’s very depressing !!!

      @HowToGuys  2 місяці тому

      The "second check" in August that many have talked about is actually the September payment being sent early due to the way the dates fell on the calendar. If you didn’t receive this payment, it could be due to several reasons, such as a delay or an issue with your account. It's best to check with the Social Security Administration or your bank to find out what's going on.

    • @HowToGuys
      @HowToGuys  2 місяці тому +2

      Many people who have worked and contributed to Social Security believe they deserve additional support, especially given the rising cost of living. Advocating for fair treatment and benefits for long-time contributors is important, as they have invested in the system and rely on it for their retirement or disability support.
      If there are specific proposals or changes you believe would help improve the situation for those who have contributed to Social Security, discussing them or reaching out to lawmakers can be a good way to advocate for change. Your voice can make a difference!

      Receiving two checks in one month (one for August and one early for September) is meant to help ensure that SSI recipients have funds available at the beginning of September. This early payment is intended to prevent gaps in income, especially for those who rely on these benefits for basic living expenses.
      If you’re concerned about how this might affect your budgeting or any other aspect of your finances, it’s a good idea to plan accordingly. If you have specific reasons for not wanting the two payments, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

      It sounds like you’re dealing with issues related to mail theft or mishandling, which can add even more stress to an already difficult situation. Here are a few steps you might consider to address this:
      Report Mail Theft: Contact the United States Postal Service (USPS) to report any theft or issues with mail delivery. They can provide guidance on how to proceed and investigate the issue.
      Contact Your Local Post Office: Visit or call your local post office to discuss any ongoing problems with mail delivery. They might be able to offer solutions or additional services to ensure your mail is delivered securely.
      Consider a Post Office Box: If mail theft is a recurring issue, renting a P.O. Box at your local post office might be a safer option for receiving important documents.
      Secure Your Mailbox: Installing a lock on your mailbox or using a mailbox with better security features might help prevent theft.
      Monitor Your Accounts: Regularly check your financial and Social Security accounts for any unauthorized activity, and report any suspicious activity immediately.
      Contact the Social Security Administration: If you’re missing checks or other important mail, let them know so they can take appropriate action to resend any lost payments.
      I hope these suggestions help you address the issues you're facing with mail delivery and theft.

This payment this month payment would be arriving little bit early, so that's why we are calling it as early payment or double payment. It's not extra payment. What happens in September?

    • @HowToGuys
      @HowToGuys  2 місяці тому

      In September, there’s often confusion because some Social Security recipients receive two payments in certain months, which might lead to the perception of extra money. However, this is usually due to the way the payment schedule aligns with the calendar.
      For 2024, recipients might see their regular payment at the end of September, with no additional checks expected unless specifically announced by the government. Always keep an eye on official communications from the Social Security Administration for accurate information.

      If you believe you’re entitled to an extra payment but haven’t received it, you might want to reach out to the Social Security Administration (SSA) or check your account details to ensure everything is up to date. It’s always good to double-check, especially with how important those payments can be.

      You’re absolutely right; many Americans are still feeling the impact of the economic fallout from COVID-19. Rising costs of living can make it challenging for those on fixed incomes or facing financial hardships. Many advocates and organizations are pushing for additional support and relief measures to help those in need, including proposals for additional payments or expanded benefits.
      It’s important for citizens to voice their concerns to lawmakers and engage in discussions about potential solutions. If you want to explore specific resources or advocacy groups that address these issues, just let me know!

    Yeah yeah I act like that's a big deal what it is is the way the days fell in the month so you better save your money and pay your bills it's not really extra cash it's just the way the days fell on the calendar month all right y'all have a great day

    • @HowToGuys
      @HowToGuys  2 місяці тому +1

      You're right-the timing of the payments is more about the way the days fall on the calendar rather than getting any extra money. It's just the regular payment coming a little earlier because of how the dates lined up. Saving that money and being mindful of bills is definitely the smart move. Thanks for keeping it real, and you have a great day too! 😊

    • @HowToGuys
      @HowToGuys  2 місяці тому

      It's understandable to be concerned about the timing of your Social Security checks. Typically, the payment schedule for Social Security retirement benefits is based on the date of birth:
      If your birthday falls on the 1st-10th of the month, you typically get paid on the second Wednesday.
      If your birthday falls on the 11th-20th, you get paid on the third Wednesday.
      If your birthday is on the 21st-31st, you get paid on the fourth Wednesday.
      However, if you’ve been receiving benefits before May 1997, or if you're receiving both Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI), your payment may arrive on the 3rd of the month. It sounds like this may apply to you. If you're ever unsure about your payment schedule, it's best to check directly with the Social Security Administration to clarify.

    • @HowToGuys
      @HowToGuys  2 місяці тому

      If you’re asking about the compensation for basketball teams and the impact of tech companies like Google on low-income individuals, here’s a brief overview:
      Basketball Team Compensation:
      Professional Players: NBA players' salaries vary widely, but they can earn millions of dollars per year. The exact amount depends on their contract, experience, and team.
      College and High School Players: Compensation varies, with college athletes often receiving scholarships rather than salaries. High school players typically do not receive monetary compensation but may get scholarships or endorsements later.
      Impact of Tech Companies:
      Google: As a tech giant, Google and other companies can influence various sectors, including job markets and online advertising. They don't directly affect individual low-income payments but can impact job availability and wages in the tech sector.
      Low-Income Assistance:
      Social Security and SSI: For those receiving Social Security or Supplemental Security Income (SSI), the amount depends on various factors, including income, living situation, and state-specific programs.
      If you have specific questions about income from basketball or how tech companies might affect low-income individuals, please let me know!

      f you’re looking for immediate financial assistance, here are some options you might consider:
      Local Charities and Nonprofits: Reach out to local organizations that offer emergency financial aid or support for low-income individuals, such as food banks, community action agencies, and faith-based organizations.
      Utility Assistance Programs: Many utility companies have programs that can help with bills. Look into programs like LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program) for energy assistance.
      Food Assistance: Apply for food stamps (SNAP) or visit local food pantries for groceries.
      Medical Bills: Contact your medical provider to discuss payment plans or financial assistance programs they might offer. Some hospitals and clinics have charity care programs.
      Online Resources: Websites like Benefits.gov can help you find available benefits and resources in your area.
      Local Government Assistance: Check with your local government offices for emergency financial assistance or housing support programs.
      If you need more details on any of these options, just let me know!
