Do you ever plant a cover crop when the sorghum comes off? I just planted triticale going to follow in spring with sorghum, I done both individually but never one after the other

This year I did not. I should have. This field was rye, then sorghum.

How does the conditioner do verses rubber rollers I’m thinking of getting the rollers but would like your opinion

I really like it because my crop is a mix of orchard, Timothy, clover, alfalfa. I don’t lose a lot of leaf matter.
Rollers would be awesome in legume type scenarios where I would be mowing straight alfalfa or clover.
The metal rollers would be PERFECT for my sudax silage cuz it crimps even harder.
For me, the impellers did it all and that’s why I went that way.
