Mens Mesh Jacket CE
The Can-Am Mesh Jacket is a fully breathable, true to size, high quality polyester 2 season jacket designed for maximum comfort on those hot days.
Heavy snaps on the collar and sleeves provide security, while still maximizing ease of access and adjustment. YKK zippers allow ease of entry into the two external hand pockets as well as a large internal pocket. Two large snap closure chest pockets give you plenty of room for the additional storage that's always needed while touring. Elbows and shoulders are protected by the supplied light weight CE 1 armor (elbow/shoulder armor is removable/replaceable). A slot is sewn into the back of the jacket for the addition of spine protection (back armor not included).

It's always interesting, even after 26 years of business, to see how customers wear their Bohn gear. We think you look great in it!
Just a quick clarification on the removal and installation of the arm armor. We recommend removing armor from the bottom of the sleeve. Removing the armor by bending the articulation in half could snap it in half (especially when the armor is cold). We want to make sure the armor lasts nice and long for you and our customers. If you have any questions, we have an installation video on the bottom of our website.

The thing I really love about this piece of gear is I can wear anything I want over it and still feel protected. Very cool in the summer but also in the winter I can throw any jacket I want over the top of it. I consider this one of the better pieces of gear I purchased.

Great, detailed review! 🤗🤗🤗TommyG and I love our Bohn Airtex shirts 🤗💜 We've been wearing them for 3 years now. We wear them the 2nd way you tried, Coach Bob, but with the back plate (guess we got used to it) and find that works pretty well for us. We found one more trick for hot weather riding and that is to wear an evaporative cooling vest under the Bohn...road tested in 105 degrees 🥵 in the desert. Love that Bohn also gives military and first responders discount. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🤗

I have had BohnArmor for several years. I find it very comfortable under a light mesh riding jacket in hot weather.. Have done 400 mile days in 90+ degree heat and it was very comfortable. I like that I can also wear it under my leather jacket in cold weather. I also have the pants and wear them under my kevlar riding jeans. I feel it is a high quality product.

my Klim Induction Jacket has the back protector from factory. If you have to wear a jersey over top of it for abrasion factor, might as well just wear a normal mesh jacket. IMHO
Some idea to have fun for next video, wired/ wireless thermometer like the ones for oven,and try different jackets to see temp difference when riding certain speed
That's a great idea.
I have had both the jacket and pants for several months and love it. I haven't found it to be too hot. The pants allow me to were what ever regular pants I want to wear. The jacket allows me to wear a couple of my leather bomber jackets that are not motor cycle jackets.

Coach Bob - Another great video and review. I just completed a 400 mile ride on my Can Am Spyder in 98 degree weather. It was hot but my Bohn Airtex Mesh Armored Motorcycle Shirt made the ride tolerable. Much more tolerable than when I was riding with my mesh motorcycle jacket.

I purchased the BohnArmor pants "My Padded Panty Hose" and had them cut off after a crash. I broke my leg but the doc said I'd probably would have lost the leg if not for the armour. I never found them too hot or cold, they breath very well. Really nice under any jeans and mostly invisible. I worked in an air conditioned office and wore them all day when I rode. Only down side is the cost without armour is almost the same as with.

I have used the bohn armor top and pants for three years now. the mesh has worked for me well. be sure to use sunblock as it does not shield you from the sun. the mesh is really thin and porous.

Sadly I had to send my back as the fit was to tight around my gut, I just wish they made a product for people with an XXL frame because I would buy it in a heart beat.

In the woods. We are covered in dirt. Dirt is our sunscreen. 😂😂😂
I like number two, shirt with bohn armor on top. I may add cooling vest over the bohn armor, may work. Has anyone tired with cooling vest.
Overall, cooling vests work pretty well. The lower the humidity the better they cool ya down.
I'm looking to buy either the Airtex or the Cool-air mesh shirt. What is your preference? I live near Houston, Tx. so the temperature and humidity are probably about the same as Florida. I was thinking about getting the Airtex with pads and then getting the Cool-air shirt without pads. Which one or do you have both types?
