    Hello mate really enjoying your uploads. I test rode the Africa Twin just before the Covid lockdown hit, I did have a test ride booked on a S10 which unfortunately got cancelled. Need to test ride the S10 before I make any final decision on my next purchase. Now subbed 👍🇬🇧

      I will get back to it this year. I had to get some personal stuff sorted (this includes a garage) and time is being very limited.

    Haha, 2:12 is my: "Ahhh, fuck this... " moment.;))) I've cleaned the spark plugs once by myself and if it is possible, never again.;)) Especially without a garage.;)))
    Well done though!;))

    Definitely not trying the risers.... looked sketchy to me from the beginning, respect you for 9:31, realized the cables were still too short. Never realized the rubber cushions on the bottom of the seat ultimately determined the height. Thought it call came from the black plastic "rack" that you set on high or low. Thanks.

      Thanks for watching😊 you are right. It is an extreme solution. I did not come up with this though. This is the official solution proposed by ROX risers. I don't like it either and will order longer pipes at some stage.

    So that seat mod is simply replacing four rubber grommets to shorter? Plus one shorter too for seat locking latch or what is that called in english, anyway where hole was drilled? I just test rode super ten I'm interested and it felt excellent, but I already noticed there that is the seat angled bit too much towards tank. If I buy one I think I'll do this mod immeadiately.

    Are you not in Ireland anymore??great video.thanks.yes agree with seat mod I found myself sliding down to tank and Cushing my balls the whole time. I just took back rubbers out seat may bounce but only when your not on it.😁

      Still in Ireland. Quite permanent actually 😀😀 Thanks for watching!

      I also removed the rear rubbers and also taped some flat washers to the seat base where the front rubbers meet it, thus raising the front slightly. Much better.

    It would maybe cost $5 to make all the cables 5cm longer for the manufacturers. Why do they cause so much pain for adventure riders who all like to raise handlebars...

      100% agree. They cut a big corner here for no reason. Really annoying. Thanks for watching

    You'd think Yamaha would have allowed for this....

    • @Freedomachine
      @Freedomachine  4 роки тому +1

      No Yamaha wouldn't recommend anything that is a mod. This is the official solution advertised by Rox risers. It is an odd one and I understand your concerns. Whoever decides to do this mod needs to understand that the original setup of the brakes is being tampered with and therefore yamaha would of course deam it unsafe. On a side note Yamaha really didn't think this through. Of course people want to use raisers. Why are all the cables short?! If the mod is done properly it is safe.

      @@Freedomachine yes. They could have made the cables just a little longer !
