If you are calculating it according to the Indian rupee by default when converted it will show a staggering amount as there's an imbalance between the Indian rupee and a dollar.
Replace that with the remittances made to India then there it shows you get a good amount in exchange for a few dollars.

Mostly numbers are real as per inflation, if someone having kids then daycare & their other expenses on top of it.

Tax break on property interest payments is not applicable anymore unless you opt for itemized instead of standard deduction. Most salaried employees go for standard deduction which is more beneficial instead. So no deduction on interest payments of a property.
i believe his interest + property tax comes is close to a staggering 45K ..so it makes sense to go itemized. not the wisest thing to pay so much interest where you are expecting the property price to appreciate considerably to make amends for your money going down the drain for interest payments and you are expecting consistent salaried income over some period in this uncertain economic times.. my 2 cents would be buy a affordable home to pay lesser interest(and pay it as early as possible) and dump the rest in index funds with close to 10% YOY to plan for retirement as well..but its all individual choice, so i respect his decision.
@@m2gautam Amount of Interest is driven by amount of current loan and %rate of the loan value of tax year. If you have 3 million $ house where you pay huge interest on a loan or have couple of houses bumps up the interest paid on the loan, then it make sense to itemize.
Usually, if you are on W2 (husband and wife) and have a one single family with reasonable rate of interest and loan value is < than 500K, then person in his right mind will opt for standard deduction. Ask CPA if still not clear.
Also, itemize will make sense if you own LLC or S-corp, but usually not on W2 and one house under 1 million with reasonable % rate of interest and loan amount is less than 500. So, depends on the situation which I referred in my OM i.e. Most salaried employees go for standard deduction which is more beneficial. 'Most' and not 'All'.

Bhai yha ka judiciary system or bhrastachar dekhkar to abroad jata behtar or peaceful lagta hai.Gareeb ko ijjat nhi deti sarkar or ameero ke jute chat ti hai abhi food government ne thele walo ka rozgar chinn liya maana ki food sample me milawat thi lekin wo bhi esi mehgai me ky karenge jadatar to apne family ko palne ke liye is had tak jate hai wahi dekha jaye koi neta ya bada aadmi koi illegal kaam kar raha ho wo Paisa fekta hai or government chalti banti hai isse better usa hi hai me toh family ke sath shift hone wala hu

state tax is deducted before receving salary or paid after??..Like if I remotely work and move from one state to the other, how would the tax be taken care??
You don't have to worry about that...tax will already cut before you receive payment

Roads are better .. no air pollution.. healthcare is very very expensive.. rest if u have good salary India is better.. single income is worse in USA.. job hopping better for techies
There is PPI which needs to be considered as per current standards the PPI between India and US is 1$ = 25₹ So if you get 1lakh dollar it means getting 25lakhs in India. So this is most important to consider before comparing with Indian Salary

I have a question, though I am living in India, how do you decide that something is expensive or not ? Like I am not able understand this perspective like for people who earn in U.S. Jaise we people know ki ye cheez itne ki hai toh mehngi hai India mein. But US mein kaise decide karenge ki ye sasti hai ya mehngi hai? Not sure if its a wierd question.

I guess your combined household income is $225-250k. $4500 is reasonable in DFW area. However I think you misspoke about property tax and Insurance. $1700 per month seems very high. Also, I guess you are far north of DFW (Like Melissa, Celina or Aubrey) or you won’t find that big of a house for the price you paid in Frisco , Plano or Coppell.
