This really works. But listen carefully to what he says. Rub it lightly until the logo is gone but dont keep rubbing it after. Use rubbing alcohol to remove the leftover residue. I made the mistake of rubbing it too much after the logo disappeared and the underpaint is too shiny now on my matt paint finish. If I listened carefully it would of been perfect.

Nice video. I have removed logos, and similar painted labeling info, using the car-polish all by itself! Or actually, the similar product sold for cleaning tar and scratches on car convertible windows (which people also used to apply to scratched CDs, only to find it will also remove the label info if it gets onto the other side of the CD). Acetone (nail polish remover) can literally melt some plastics - but, I can't argue with how well it worked for you.
Dude! You are a legend!! This totally worked! I got a new webcam and just hated seeing the logo on it all the time. A bit of nail polish, a few q-tips, and some elbow grease and logo be gone! Thanks!!!!
Thank you for the information I was able to remove nice pen logos off of the pens yes I hated the comfys on the pens but I like the pain and yes I had to stuff laying around
A piece of advice for y’all, do this only with stuff you’re 100% not gonna sell later, Cuz this will make it alot cheaper + it will be hard to find a buyer
I found that using a good old pvc pencil eraser also works on some logos (I removed my redragon keyboard's logos like that) I would try that first before trying with alcohol.
right on! This is a great chemistry hack to know--logos can look cheesy in the home! I came because I have a label I want to take off an oil can---basically, like what is on a can of soda, I think. I'm not sure this mix would work for leaving shiny, smooth metal, but I am curious if it's possible.
Same process, but be EXTREMELY CAREFUL not to get ANY of the liquids onto the glass surface. If you do, get them off as soon as you can. They can leech under the edges of the glass and damage the panel. Speaking from experience here.
@@gogoteca The product I have used for this, also from Meguiar and also made for removing scratches from the plastic windows of convertible cars, is called Meguiar's "PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish"". Definitely safer on plastic surfaces than using nail-polish remover (acetone).

Can you imagine how clean everyone’s gaming setup be if there would be no logos
Deffently this was why I like this little life hack 😆
Hotshot yea I wonder why people don’t do like Apple or Microsoft and either give a small logo or don’t have any branding on it what so ever
What's your problem with logos on those products? I just want to remove the logo of an ISP on the router I'm using as a modem.
@properhelpful Having a brand logo of your products does not fit the meaning of advertisement. Your concern is false and stupid.

On metal a light abrasive would probably work. So probably just the polish on its own.
