Ask yourselves, what beliefs and doctrines did the Apostles and disciples carry out after Christ died and was resurrected? It is a popular thing to be protestant among christans and unpopular to be Catholic. This is the last song I played for my mom before she went to heaven. She died the week of Easter in April 2022. I played it in her funeral. It brings tears of loss and hope. Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice to give us eternal life.
This was played at my stepdads funeral back in 2012. As well as What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong, which still makes me cry every time. I graduated high school a week ago and we sang What a Wonderful World, and I didn’t tell my mom so that she could be surprised. When we sang that song, it felt like he was there in some way. It also felt like everything was finally going to be okay. I went to a Christian school and I know that my stepdad would’ve been so proud of me.

I've gone too long without realizing my faith. I've lied to others, lied to myself, stolen, I've had bad bad thoughts, I say bad things.... I took having true Christian grandparents for granted and ignored the things they stood for. For the first time tonight I'm going to open my bible and figure out where my life is going. 10 years ago my Nepalese Buddhist uni friend introduced me to this song & version as an Owl City fan. As God would have it, I was there to introduce him to the HERO and subject of this powerful song and he gave his life to Christ.🙏❤🙌
My grandmother passed away over last weekend. She was 87 years old but she loved this song so much even when the church sang it! For the longest time I doubted that there was a God. A few days before she passed away in the hospital I spoke with my aunt after her funeral service yesterday and she said that my grandmother knew for a FACT that she was going to heaven if she were to pass away from surgery complications. Before she even went into the hospital she told me "James, God is real and he performs miracles every day even when you don't realize it, it's a miracle that I've been alive to see you from when you were born up until you became an adult" After she passed away I felt this since of comfort knowing she's in heaven watching over me right now. I'm now a born again christian. This song always makes me think of her even more now, this was one of her favorite songs out there. It also makes me think of her because I know that I'll be in heaven one day and so will my family members. God IS real for sure and he watches over us every single day.

For a long time I was against religion, mostly Christianity. But even though I claimed I was against it, I secretly held something I can only refer to as reverence. It was a sort of subconscious admiration that I hid inside because I thought it clashed with my 'true' feelings. But after going through a 3-4 day spiritual crisis and discarding my mask of opposition I chose to embrace that which I felt was a part of me all along, and that is Jesus Christ. I accepted him as my Lord and Savior and as God my King and Creator and the amount of relief and sheer satisfaction I felt since then has been indescribable. Christina Grimmie was much inspired by this song, especially this version by Owl City. She always believed in Christ and her faith was an unmovable mountain! It's so sad that she lost her life after being shot at her own concert but now she is standing firm with Christ!

I remember two years ago listening to this and crying. I begged God to take me every night. as of right now I'm working things out with myself and mentally God helps me feel like I can make it. for anyone who is struggling, you're gonna make it. I wouldn't really call myself a child of God... but lately I've been miserable with life. I was on my phone trying to look up songs that are not Christian like three days grace, Hollywood undead, etc.. and i saw this song on my "recommended suggestions" i didn't want to click on it knowing the song will be talking about God, but i did out of curiosity because i heard of this "peace" most of my Christian relatives were telling me about. And i must say, it did gave me peace rather than sadness. I spent like 10 minutes crying, but they were happy tears, rather than sad tears... so thank you for brightening up my day who ever posted the song or made it.. :-)
I was going through a miserable time in life and just cried out to God one day saying "God please come into my life and transform me, I want to be happy, I accept Jesus as my lord and savior, please forgive me of my sins, please come into my heart and fill me with the Holy Spirit" from that moment on, I can't describe to you the overwhelming feeling peace I've felt in my life. I didn't think it was possible to feel this good. I started praying more and talking to God like a normal person and listening to some Amazing songs like this. And a couple days later while was praying one night, I felt the power of the Holy Spirit inside me. It was like an instense warmth that flowed throughout my whole body. And that was the moment of reassurance I needed. "Draw near to God and he will draw near to you" "seek and you shall find" it's one thing for many to say they believe in God and another to experience his presence and love. Just thought I'd share my experience with you :)

Dont you think God understands the fact that young people have doubts? God is complex.....and He wants us to get to know Him...to see through the complexity. So how do we do that?....by doubting, asking questions, investigate, study, doubting, asking questions, etc. And during this proces of spiritual growth, God is smiling and will not leave your side. I just came back from a funeral and this was one of the hymns we sang. He was twenty eight years old, had a wife and a family, including two younger sisters and he took his own life. If anyone reading this is suffering from depression and contemplating harming themselves or taking their own life. Please get help and don't let those dark thoughts take over.

The fact that you want Him is proof that He hasn't given up in you. The desire for God comes from God Himself. I went through the same thing, my friend. Read James 1:2 It says that we are BLESSED when we go through trials. Jesus loves you and longs to lavish all love on you. Don't give up. I wanted to as well, but God led me to James 1:2 and His Son gives me all the hope I could ever have. Satan will try to deceive you and tell you God doesn't want you, but that's a lie. He loves you so much, and He knows you desire Him. No matter how hard it is, look to Jesus in faith. Life may have trials but the day He calls us home will be the day every tear is wiped away. Pray to Him and grow closer to Jesus. He will NEVER reject those who want His forgiveness. That's a promise.

I was saved but lost my way when I was 26 about to turn 27 in 2017 I started reading The Holy Bible everyday and that's when I became born again "again" I thought I knew what I needed to know to be saved but all the teachers led me astray not preaching The Truth and when I read The Holy Bible I felt a genuine conviction and I'm still being sanctified working on things but more or mostish of those I've turned from I still drink some but I don't like fighting, I don't swear unless I'm really angry and I am careful who I am around and the biggest turn around GOD did for me through his love and Grace is I use to be a prostitute but I quickly turned when I read The Holy Bible. I struggle with adultery more or less in the heart than flesh about girls but I pray and keep praying. We need to keep our Faith even when we are weak and etc Don't turn from GOD turn to GOD. I go to school every weekday. And every day there are kids, teachers, and events that lead me away from God. School is anti-God and I try to defend him, but there are too many people to fight (argue) against. I come home, and listen to this song. This song is sent right down from heaven, and into his mouth. Good Prayer, Flex. I only lovingly ask you to consider that Jesus says numerous times that he came for his "bride" (the church). He tells us to love Him BY loving one another. It's very admirable to worship him when you are alone. But it was VERY clear in scripture that He desired us to be together loving and serving one another on a regular basis. I only say this to ask you to consider deepening your faith by finding other believers to fellowship with since it is SUCH a huge part of God's design for us. I have had the thought, "I love Jesus but not the church" many times...but then it occurred to me that it's like someone saying, "I like you but not your wife." But, church is an extremely important part of the Christian walk. The act of going, and the building itself, are not the point. The point is meeting with fellow believers in Christ. On May 23, 2019, my grandpa went home with the Lord at the ripe old age of 91. A few weeks later, on June 13, we held his services at Calvary Cemetery in Los Angeles. After the pastor preached his sermon, my mom asked a few family members to sing a few songs. And believe it or not, my two twin nephews, Joseph and Isaiah Haddad got up, went to the mic and sang this song. By the way, I'm Isaiah's Godfather... Forgot to mention that LOL. My father played this song to me growing up. He is a man of god and I denounced it for so many years. As Christ commanded my destiny, he saved me in November of 2022. This song will always bring joyful tears to my eyes. Praise you Lord for all that you have done!!

I never knew Adam Young (AKA Owl City) was a christian and he shows us that you can sing more than one genre of songs just as well as the other genres you sing and he also shows us that your dreams can become a reality. Truly Adam Young has always had a effect on me and i loved his songs but i never knew why but now i do, it was a spiritual connection i had with the songs that he has sung and because of that i feel much better now in knowing that someone who usually sings pop songs can sing Christian songs just as well as his pop songs if not better than his pop songs, I am thankful I'm a Christian and i am thankful i can be moved by music. I graduated high school a week ago and we sang What a Wonderful World, and I didn’t tell my mom so that she could be surprised. When we sang that song, it felt like he was there in some way. It also felt like everything was finally going to be okay. I went to a Christian school and I know that my stepdad would’ve been so proud of me.

Discovered this song when I was 13 or 14, now I’m back at 22, God has been with me through every storm along the way and will continue to be there❤
My grandmother passed away over last weekend. She was 87 years old but she loved this song so much even when the church sang it! For the longest time I doubted that there was a God. A few days before she passed away in the hospital I spoke with my aunt after her funeral service yesterday and she said that my grandmother knew for a FACT that she was going to heaven if she were to pass away from surgery complications. Before she even went into the hospital she told me "James, God is real and he performs miracles every day even when you don't realize it, it's a miracle that I've been alive to see you from when you were born up until you became an adult" After she passed away I felt this since of comfort knowing she's in heaven watching over me right now. I'm now a born again christian. This song always makes me think of her even more now, this was one of her favorite songs out there. It also makes me think of her because I know that I'll be in heaven one day and so will my family members. God IS real for sure and he watches over us every single day.

For a long time I was against religion, mostly Christianity. But even though I claimed I was against it, I secretly held something I can only refer to as reverence. It was a sort of subconscious admiration that I hid inside because I thought it clashed with my 'true' feelings. But after going through a 3-4 day spiritual crisis and discarding my mask of opposition I chose to embrace that which I felt was a part of me all along, and that is Jesus Christ. I accepted him as my Lord and Savior and as God my King and Creator and the amount of relief and sheer satisfaction I felt since then has been indescribable. Through the power of the Lord all can be accomplished. Owl City is the living embodiment of God's angels on Earth.

I was on my phone trying to look up songs that are not Christian like three days grace, Hollywood undead, etc.. and i saw this song on my "recommended suggestions" i didn't want to click on it knowing the song will be talking about God, but i did out of curiosity because i heard of this "peace" most of my Christian relatives were telling me about. And i must say, it did gave me peace rather than sadness. I was going through a miserable time in life and just cried out to God one day saying "God please come into my life and transform me, I want to be happy, I accept Jesus as my lord and savior, please forgive me of my sins, please come into my heart and fill me with the Holy Spirit" from that moment on, I can't describe to you the overwhelming feeling peace I've felt in my life. I didn't think it was possible to feel this good. I started praying more and talking to God like a normal person and listening to some Amazing songs like this. And a couple days later while was praying one night, I felt the power of the Holy Spirit inside me. It was like an instense warmth that flowed throughout my whole body. And that was the moment of reassurance I needed. "Draw near to God and he will draw near to you" "seek and you shall find" it's one thing for many to say they believe in God and another to experience his presence and love. Just thought I'd share my experience with you :)

I wanted to as well, but God led me to James 1:2 and His Son gives me all the hope I could ever have. Satan will try to deceive you and tell you God doesn't want you, but that's a lie. He loves you so much, and He knows you desire Him. No matter how hard it is, look to Jesus in faith. Life may have trials but the day He calls us home will be the day every tear is wiped away. Pray to Him and grow closer to Jesus. He will NEVER reject those who want His forgiveness. That's a promise.

I was saved but lost my way when I was 26 about to turn 27 in 2017 I started reading The Holy Bible everyday and that's when I became born again "again" I thought I knew what I needed to know to be saved but all the teachers led me astray not preaching The Truth and when I read The Holy Bible I felt a genuine conviction and I'm still being sanctified working on things but more or mostish of those I've turned from I still drink some but I don't like fighting, I don't swear unless I'm really angry and I am careful who I am around and the biggest turn around GOD did for me through his love and Grace is I use to be a prostitute but I quickly turned when I read The Holy Bible. I struggle with adultery more or less in the heart than flesh about girls but I pray and keep praying. We need to keep our Faith even when we are weak and etc Don't turn from GOD turn to GOD. That's my testimony and GOD Loves you all have a Blessed week 🙏

I go to school every weekday. And every day there are kids, teachers, and events that lead me away from God. School is anti-God and I try to defend him, but there are too many people to fight (argue) against. I come home, and listen to this song. This song is sent right down from heaven, and into his mouth. This song in the inspiration behind my fight for God. Every day I will fight for him, at school, when I get a job, or at home. This song, is amazing! And I can't express that enough!

Good Prayer, Flex. I only lovingly ask you to consider that Jesus says numerous times that he came for his "bride" (the church). He tells us to love Him BY loving one another. It's very admirable to worship him when you are alone. But it was VERY clear in scripture that He desired us to be together loving and serving one another on a regular basis. I only say this to ask you to consider deepening your faith by finding other believers to fellowship with since it is SUCH a huge part of God's design for us. I have had the thought, "I love Jesus but not the church" many times...but then it occurred to me that it's like someone saying, "I like you but not your wife." I am so grateful for the eternal mercy of our Lord's atonement. Because of Him, my sins are forgiven; I owe Him everything. Christ is MY Savior now and always.
On May 23, 2019, my grandpa went home with the Lord at the ripe old age of 91. A few weeks later, on June 13, we held his services at Calvary Cemetery in Los Angeles. After the pastor preached his sermon, my mom asked a few family members to sing a few songs. And believe it or not, my two twin nephews, Joseph and Isaiah Haddad got up, went to the mic and sang this song. By the way, I'm Isaiah's Godfather... Forgot to mention that LOL. Their mother, my cousin Wendy, played this accompanying track on her phone while they sang this song. Boys, I love you and I'm very proud of you and who God has called you to be. Remember, it's in Christ and Christ alone that we find our true identity, our hope for life.
Correction....The boys are actually my cousins, LOL. Why I thought they were my nephews, I don't know. Now they're 13 years-old and in sixth grade!
