Yeah man, The message was well done. It does inspire and influence. In your efforts to "free people from the matrix" You may consider a non VR version to ensure accessibility to those not ready for the VR experience. Just a thought. Keep up the positive content.

Really invites thought. But Deven also talks about hope and a better way. Maybe social media shrinks our world and disconnects us only to the extent that it becomes self-centered. I’ve noticed that the reason creators like Deven, Sean Cannell, and others light up the screen is because they are about what they can give to others. It’s not so much about ‘me’ but rather about how they can bless.

I'm sure most people know and understand the lure of social media, but cannot tear themselves away from the attraction, even though they don't personally know most of the people they post with. I enjoyed this video and wish that all those enthralled by social media could watch it too.
I'm really enjoying this projects! The format is so immersive that makes the viewer feel on location.
It's ironic that in order to ask the question, you have to use the very technology that you're criticizing. It's difficult to unplug from the Matrix, when the incentive is to stay plugged in.

@@georgigeranov9778, agreed. Grassroots movements are still more impactful for longterm results, in my opinion. Cultural change occurs when the population interacts differently. Social Media is bizarre in its microcosm. It doesn't necessarily represent the whole.
I haven't watched the BTS yet, but appears this was shot on a tripod. Yet watching this VR on my phone gave it a hand-held feel. Stable but more personal.

Absolutely true Jeven! Once a year a take an entire month off social media to put things back into perspective... I'd love to leave many platforms all to together but as you know being a content creator it kind of goes hand in hand. Finding the balance is whats important.
Important message we all need to think about. As time goes on i´m becoming very selective over where i spend my time in social media. And most of it is a waste of time. Social media is also a window into all the fake lives everyone lives online. We need more reality. Yes it´s nice to get that like to show that people like the art we make, But at what cost?

Very interesting video and pretty cool VR.
A 4 part video is too long. I never had any cell/mobile phone and don't do any social media in my long life. I really appreciate my freedom. I also live in my own moments 'IN THE NOW', instead of replying all day long to everyone else's moments. I do have a desktop PC and email and a landline and an answering machine, no tablet or TV. Plenty of freedom and less negativity from news and other people. Good luck everybody.

An outstanding piece. I’ve seen your content off and on over the last year. But last week I decided to subscribe... there seemed to be a different level to what you were presenting. (Yes, I am that professed UA-cam junky, following many of the new photo/video creators.)
And then this, a segment that could stand well within any documentary on the human condition, and the social media net that ensnares us. It was shot well, and worked well in that setting - harsh desolate and vast, a great metaphor for the film’s point. Great job man, I think I’ll put down the remote a little more often now, for the experience of reality.

It is very true it is a time sucker. It also keeps creators from creating. I am going to try to stay off as much as possible while creating but part of what I do for work is using social media so it is hard. I like the 180 even on my Samsung S10plus

I hardly make videos and with the little I've done I feel too deep down this rabbit hole of algorithms and social media. It can all be unhealthy if we dont disconnect ourselves from it all.

Is really true we became a slave to gadgets/socmed. That's why it's important to only watch or spend time with quality content. I'll control my socmed that's why I'm no where in it for now except here in YT. 😂
I would get so annoyed with my (ex) wife. I would take her hiking in beautiful places like Estes Park. Every 5 minutes she wanted to stop so I can take a picture of her with some tree or rock. It would totally disrupt my enjoyment of the place when she wanted to stop so often. Can we just go for an hour and enjoy the surroundings without need to take a damn picture?

Great video mate I’m split between hating adverts always have always will and loving content created on you tube I get the need for creators to make a dollar from ads but nothing bugs me more than a dumb ad midway through a video 😡 I prefer the donation idea if the viewer enjoys the content then flick the creator a quid. I love the process of creating it motivates me to get out and explore gives me an awesome outlet for my creativity I just love it but If my channel ever gets the op to activate adverts I hope I’ll have the resolve to ignore it😐
