You see, everybody can design a car that can withstand a crash test but how many electronic safety devices will the car company provide you, that is a different sstory. Each NCAP (there are a few in the world) has different scoring system which gives weightage to certain safety issues related to the specific market. For Asean NCAP, part of the 5-star scoring points would be the Blind Spot Monitoring System because here in Asean, we have more motorcycles and it is adamant that drivers should know where the bikers are, hence the Blind Spot Monitoring System.

And yet, I still see many Malaysians couldn't even be bothered to put their child in a proper child safety seat!
