Is it just me or is Sierra getting better and better on guitar? I used to think she was a mandolinist who played some guitar, but she is now a virtuoso of multiple instruments. Can't wait to see Sierra performing in person again. What an inspiration!
She was winning guitar picking contests when she was 10 years old. She's equally adept at both mandolin and guitar although she's said that mandolin is her main instrument.
Well, you'd love ME then, b/c I've been playing since I was 9 years old, & I'm now 40. I'll bet I'd love you, too since you appreciate a true guitarist for the correct reasons. I play like Sierra, but more like Chet Atkins. Have a beautiful life, Billie!!! :-)
*Sierra plays amazing on guitar /not only on mandolin/. The sound of guitar is beautiful / My country is neighbor of the Czech republic in the Central Europe, wow! /
Lovely guitar-- Rings like a bell. Some incredible artisans over in that area of the world. Nice to see some products over here! Of course, beautiful playing (but that's a given).
Just wanted to say I just bought this exact guitar today from guitars San Diego and am so stoked to play it in the years to come. It’s a beauty and plays amazing. Hope one day I’ll play as good as you did. Great video!
I have two older Furch’s- sold under the Stonebridge name, and both are excellent. One is a 2011 G22CR-C, and one is a 2014 G22AM-C. Love the burst finish on this one!
You just amaze me with your talent Sierra! I have several Martin guitars but I imported from Australia (of all places) a Furch Vintage 3 Series Dreadnaught. The series 3 wasn’t available anywhere in the states. Folks, it has amazing balanced tone just like the one Sierra is playing. I feel so fortunate to have it.
Beautiful guitar, playing, and song. I really enjoy listening to bluegrass musicians such as Sierra, Sutton, Rice, Courtney Hartman, etc. playing other compositions. There's just so much talent out there.
You're better on the guitar than I would have ever imagined it. I know you're amazing on mandolin but wow. As a guitar player that made me want to put my guitar down in disgust.
Finally a bluegrass musician playing a Furch! Furch guitars are the most amazing sounding guitars that won't cost you 12k! I have a Furch V2 D-SR and man that thing rings like no other! Sounds better than a 18k Martin I compared it to in every aspect. Rock on Sierra! \m/
I just ordered this exact same guitar that Sierra is playing in this video. Q: Any chance someone might know if her version is available in tablature? Wishful thinking...
Furch guitars are awesome and this one just confirms it. And there is no question about excellent bluegrass guitar playing and exceptional musicality of Sierra...
@@geoffreysaadi3004 I think that you are right - most of the Furch guitars come with about this 12-53 gauge of the Elixir ph-br strings. For their vintage models, the bronze strings of similar gauge are often preferred. Anyway, the Furch guitars are great...
You have a guitar that allows for your delicate and beautiful fluid dynamic tonal control created by those magic fingers. Just wonderful! Thanks! Now you gone and done it! You have made it impossible for me to move on without sub your channel.
Lovely sounding guitar with an equally lovely comp. Sweet resonance: no fatigue. Solid Rosewood back and sides and I assume a choice spruce top: woods of choice.
I am amazed at how good Furch guitars sound, I played one at a store in Atlanta a few years ago, loved it, and regret not buying it then! It's on my 'list, LOL!
Sierra, that's one seriously beautiful sounding flattop. But of course, it's you that makes it sound that way. I really appreciate you letting me borrow it next week. I'll restring it before I return it with Elixers (ha ha). Thanks again! The Gee-tah tech from RI
I own the Furch Red Masters Choice and can attest to the fact that simply playing on the sofa by the fire is now a much nicer experience. I believe my guitar must have a bit of magic built into it. 😋 That said, what a delightful surprise to wake to a beautiful lady playing virtuoso guitar! Hard not to love this. My day is now a nicer place to be. Thank you!
I played this guitar today. It’s a Takamine and Martin combined. Great lows, bright mods and highs. Easy to play. A bit heavy, but made extremely well.
@@FurchGuitarsOfficial where can I purchase this guitar she’s playing? Never see dealers with sunburst finish. Ideally this exact guitar with short scale 24.9”
Wow! I never heard this young lady play. I’m probably 40 years older then her and been playing for over 50 years but I’m embarrassed. I need to practice. Good review and the Furch is outstanding too!
Sierra, I just happened to see you on line and wanted to say hello. I used to be an agent for guitarist Stephen Bennett and I have also worked with both Muriel Anderson and Richard Smith over the years, though I haven't lately, due to medical reasons. Muriel and Stephen are very good friends of mine and I have learned a lot from them over the years. Anyway, it's nice to meet you and I will be checking out your videos. See ya
Everytime I check out a Furch I am surprised about the beautiful tone. Due to their thin top they sound full and loud. It only needs a soft attack to make them ring.
the touch of a master

That tone whizzed right straight thru my ears directly to the pleasure center of my brain.
Your beautiful spirit shines so bright when you smile and play. Thank you.
Quality.
The older I get, the more I notice how important having high quality things are , to enjoying life.
Thank you, the pleasure is ours.
I love people that love to play guitar.

Wow, what fantastic touch, technique, and tone. The Furch guitars are outstanding. Greetings from Boxford, MA

Outstanding in every way: the piece, your arrangement, the tone, and above all, the delicacy and precision of your fretwork.
Absolutely beautiful! ❤
I'd spend hours and hours listening to and watching Sierra playing guitar and or mandoline.
I played a Furch Cedar top a few years ago and the guitar for the price was amazing! Your guitar playing is amazing!
Beautiful tone!!

Furch makes great guitars. And, I would love to sit in a small club and watch Sierra play just like that.
Outstanding, excellent playing, beautiful guitar and a beautiful young woman. Best wishes & thank you.

What a beautiful dreadnaught cutaway acoustic guitar! It's got such a beautiful tone quality to it as well!
Great sounding instrument and awesome pickin' as usual. Thank you for sharing!
Great tune and tone. That guitar in her hands sound very nice.
Nashville breeds great musicians and Sierra is certainly no exception!

Very nice !! Hopefully the Covid will go away enough for people to be able to go out to concerts again. I've seen two Sierra Hull shows so far.
Sounds great, wonderful playing and that model sounds fabulous!!
I recently purchased a Furch Yellow Master's Choice Gc-CR and it is incredible!!
I love Sierras playing on both mandolin and guitar ❤️
Imagine being so good at guitar they just show up on your porch
a guitar spawn
Especially when you are a mandolin player
❤️
Huge fans since you were a kid, Sierra! Love your talent! Great version of this beautiful song!

Wonderful and the guitar is very nice too.
Best sounding acoustic. Ridiculously nice playing. Lovely
That is a great advertisement for the guitar. I’d love to play it next to my Martin. I’m considering adding another guitar to my library.
Just beautiful!

That wide grain Roeswood... ooooh
Make a narrow body guitar with age.
Furch is going places.
I have the same guitar without the sunburst and love it! Just got it a couple months ago. You sound great Sierra...great choice!
