They were probably so long they were bothering his eyes. He still has long lashes, but ones they start growing downward instead of staying up it’s a problem.

I'm glad he trimmed the eyelashes. My daughter has lashes like those and she has told me how annoying they are when they touch her cheeks or get into her eyeballs when they fall out. Also, he looks more masculine with short lashes. With his delicate looks, short lashes help him. Great call imho

Y’all stop complaining that he made the decision to have his eyelashes trimmed. They were definitely affecting his vision and stopping that is more important than some random’s opinion. I’m not say you can’t compliment them, but don’t express your opinion as a command. “Don’t do that” “there was no reason” “you looked good before” “I am upset you did that” “you shouldn’t have” “my heart stopped” “I nearly had a heart attack” , and any other pushing or overly dramatic reactions is not necessary and probably not wanted by kid in the video.
