Also, the concept of the game is dying out. we see repetitive ideas for the seasons, events became bland, and not much was being added to the game other than the same NPCs, but with different "characters/skins", which you could buy specific items from. I remember during season 7 (chapter 1) when there would be a new weapon being added every week, and the overall game was just fun. now it seems as if epic almost wants to kill the game. another thing was the stretched resolution during the lower seasons. it was something that was blowing up, and the whole community was loving it. it would allow players to have a higher field of view, which in some way was a competitive advantage, although there were many other solutions to the idea than simply removing the field of view. for example they could have to make console only lobbies, so they wouldn't fight against PC's advantage, or add a fov slider to the game. the reason why they claimed they removed it was because they stated how they didn't like the way it made their game look. although why remove something from your game even though the community loved it? just because it looked bad doesn't mean they have to remove it as a whole. the list goes on of factors that made the game worse (in my opinion) although why dosent epic listen to their community?
