Great choice! 'Flash Forward' is an awesome show, and it's amazing that you loved it so much that you bought it on DVD. That really shows how much it impacted you!
I feel your pain... the cancellation of 'FlashForward' left many of us unsatisfied. It's so frustrating when a show ends on such a cliffhanger. Sometimes it's hard to forget!
Flash Forward was one of those show that p!ssed us off because they had already shot the season finale before it got cancelled we were left with an infuriating cliff hanger. Great list as usual. Really interested in Bounty Killer.
I agree, 'Flash Forward' left us all hanging-such a frustrating cliffhanger, especially after the show got canceled. Glad you liked the list! 'Bounty Killer' is definitely worth checking out.
Most of these films can be found on popular streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, or HBO Max. It's also worth checking specialized services like Shudder, especially for horror films. Keep in mind that availability may depend on your region.
Feels like this type of movies/shows act as manuals for prepers and survivalists. An apocalypse occurs and civilisation descents into chaos. Almost always viewed through the eyes of technologically dependent urban capitalists they depict a future where no sense if community and altruism exists. Granted viewers will get a perverted yet justified pleasure watching the struggles of the protagonists from the comfort of their living room, but still after the initial shock of an apocalyptic scenario the world will most likely return back to the basics of living rather then self implode in a Mad Max sort of way. Just my thoughts...
Great thoughts! Many post-apocalyptic films and shows do depict a world in total chaos, often through the eyes of people dependent on modern technology. It makes you wonder if, in reality, society wouldn't return to basic values and community rather than self-implode in a 'Mad Max' way. Your perspective is thought-provoking, thanks for sharing!
Flashforward was cancelled in the first season but won an Emmy and had 13 nominations? Was the disconnect with the Emmy awards committee or did the network screw the pooch?
That's an interesting question! 'FlashForward' did gain critical acclaim, as shown by its Emmy win and nominations, but unfortunately, the network decided to cancel it. Often, it's a matter of viewership and business decisions, which don't always align with critical acclaim and awards. It's a shame it turned out that way.
I rented that movie Starfish, it was damn awful. Boring as hell, couldn’t wait for the end and even that was absolutely ridiculous. The movie even added a whole segment of anime, I don’t know how you picked that movie for anything, worst 1.5hr movie I’ve seen in a very long time. Film made absolutely no sense, and the kicker “based on a true story” really????
I get your disappointment-certain films just don’t hit the mark, and 'Starfish' is definitely a unique one. Sometimes the storyline can be too abstract to really engage the viewer. Thanks for your honest feedback!

Regarding the Commercial before this, the Dude is about to get arrested for attempting to cash a check for 180K. lmao
Haha, good observation! It looks like not everything in commercials follows the rules. Thanks for the comment and the laugh!
What’s a ‘gaint’ insect?
Looks like a typo! It was probably meant to say 'giant insect.' Thanks for catching that!
Stay tuned and find out!
The guys dramatic voice is annoying and makes me hate the movies
Sorry to hear the narration isn't your style. Everyone has their preferences when it comes to narration. Hopefully, you'll still enjoy the movies!

Give the narrator something for his sore throat.😂
Haha, you might be right! Maybe it's time for a cup of tea with honey for the narrator. 😂 Thanks for the comment!
