Hi there! Great to see you here today! If you are wondering about the info about product placement in my video, please continue reading:
For this video I got no money at all. So, no money from Touchfive, Ohuhu or another company. I didn’t get the markers for free, I have bought everything on my own. But this still needs to be marked as advertisement. Why? Because of strange new laws here in Germany. If I show you a marker product, it is already supposed to be an ad, even when I have bought this completely on my own (because I mention the brand). I even need to mark collaboration videos as ad videos, because I say the name of another artist in the video, so it is supposed to be an ad.
This is completely nonsense, because in this way I need to mark everything as ad. But the only thing a viewer needs to know is if the things I am saying are my opinion or if I got money for that. If I need to mark everything as an ad, nobody knows that and that’s why the laws are simply stupid. Nobody really knows how to handle that currently, so I will continue with marking my videos as ad videos.

I like to let you know that out ohuhu is gonig to make brush markers this year in the 2019 and I'm suspecting that'll either be released in late spring or early summer they are alcohol-based

Ohuhu looks like it dries much more evenly then the Touch. Even with the ink running out, the boots you colored with touch got two layers of ink and still didn`t even out. On the other hand, the Ohulu, which looked uneven when you were coloring dried very evenly with just one layer
So far, my impression is that Ohuhu might be up there with copic

I don't know if it's her touchfive markers that have a problem but i have my own, an 80 pencil pack that i bought a year ago and they're working fine in the begining the blending was tricky but an artist finds their ways. And i found out that i should color a section fast before the whole thing dries out if i do it never leaves these nasty marks we have here.
I prefer Ohuhu by a _kilometer_ (Yes, I really did use the metric system. Fite meh)

Touchfive markers have a trick when it comes to the blending. Once you get it, anything you draw will be amazing. I have my own 80 pack touchfive markers, i was angry the first month i got them the colors wouldn't blend well, but I swear to god they are great now that I found my way through the problem.

So basically, the markers will usually, literally "drool" on your paper the moment you use them. (I can't find any other way of describing it, sorry English isn't my best language). But to simplify, when you try to color with them the color will usually go beyong the outline, just by a couple milimeters, because the alcohol spreads over the paper thus ruining the 'immaculate" drawing, you're trying to make.
So what to do in that
case? I advise you make sure to take into account the "drooling" and to color just beside the outline you have made beforehand, the alcohol will do its job of reaching the outline by itself. (It sounds funny and kind of stupid now but you'll get it sooner rather than later XD). If you do go beyong the outline just use a regular pen correcter, although it'll be a little noticeable if you color over it.
But some markers are just fine they don't "drool" at all, although in my case most of them do.
Now the blending, ooooh boy, my best advice is to never try and blend directly on your actual drawing, keep on trying different methods on a separate paper, they give a blending marker with the whole package although it doesn't do much honestly, from my experience at least.
My favorite color blending combination with these markers are dark shades of purple and light pinks, they work amazingly well.

Hey Juni! The review was great but I just wanted to say the ohuhu markers are different. You have the old style of markers also they have up to 80 markers, not 40. The new sets are more circular, not like the old square ones, they don't have the names anymore (which is sad I loved the names), and in the 80 set the don't have any pastels they have pastels in the 60 set though which is weird, and some of the colors were updated. I just wanted to let you know this information if you didn't know already (DrawingWiffWaffles video about them shows the colors that were updated if you don't want to buy another whole new set, not promoting just letting you know.) I just looked on Amazon for some updated markers of the company, but there wasn't anything new for German customers T_T We just have the opportunity to buy 40 markers of their old collection. At least this was the case when I did the "research" for this video some days ago.

I reckon the touch five markers are better! They actually can come with 160 to 220 if you look hard enough on eBay. Because these are chea markers from China they work pretty much the same and they even have some of the exact same colours. The nibs in my opinion are no different to one another but the touch five markers are much cheap if you look on eBay they can be from 50-20 cents each and they come in different sets like 20!40!60 and eighty and not to mention you can also chose your colour sets previously like architecture set, Fashion ect. Both are great and practically work the same! The ink is the exact same (trust me). But I think that the touch five markers give you more choices on seeing the previous set and more ranges on the amount of markers. I personally got my 80 set for 19 dollars which ment that each marker was around 15 cents each. But weather you buy the Touch five or Ohuhu please always buy from eBay and not amazon. Because both are ultimately cheaper on eBay than amazon because they already sell the markers for 50 cents each which is probably good enough for some people but trust me you can always find a bigger set worth more you your money, again I got my set for 15 cents EACH. So save your self some money and go on eBay.

@@cynthiablackwell5700 Hi. I personally own touch five and touch new and they are pretty much the same except different branding and marker shape, the ink is pretty much the same quality.

But look at the quality difference. The ohuhu markers dried so evenly compared to the touchfives that had a spotty look about them. Also, the new ohuhu markers have much more colours and are about forty British pence per marker.

The other day I got some touchfive markers and they're easy to use , I got them off of Amazon but one arrived cracked but they still work really well , thank you for this thought I'll try ohuhu soon

Bought a 120 pack of brush tip Ohuhus for 100 dollars im definitely feeling these markers and will continue to get more i also like the touch five but they dry out really fast I bought a 60 pack in August they dried out by September

The numbers are there because they are refillables so when you buy the refills they ask what number and you put that number in and you get the color ou had before

Ohuhu now comes in 80 colors; AND according to their Instagram they're working on a brush tip marker. They were taking a poll of whether it should be a fine/brush or a chisel/brush

The reason you might have not gotten a light skin tone is because some times they have a markers with the same name but a lighter colour even though they only have 80colours i think there are at least 15 of these additional colours
Touch five i have 84 of them now and i love em
The color names are taken from the Touch Twin markers by Shinhan. All those cheap markers use these name scheme, which is good, because you can refill all those cheap chinese markers with either Ohuhu refill ink or Shinhan refill ink.
TouchNew also has a brush nib now, btw. And they are much cheaper still than Ohuhu.
I noticed when using touch five markers the paper weight type they require is sometimes different from other brands. Although I don't own ohuhu's, I think the case is the same for them. For me, I like that I can buy individual markers of the touch fives, even though previously I don't think that was the case. Also both of markers types have brush tip version sets now. I only own the nib version of touch five/new markers but plan to try out the brush nibs version from an aliexpress shop I saw selling them individually, later on.
Ok I perfer touch five bc touch five is real cheap like omg 80 pcs bag is like 150 and I know it’s expensive but for that much I can buy like 5 copics (it’s 29.99 each here in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦) so 5 copics is the price for an 80 pcs bag of touch five markers lol

For me they are both better because it depends on the user, you don't need to buy expensive art materials for good results as long as you know how to use your materials then it's good 🌴🌴

I have 120 touchfive markers and 2 sets of twinmarkers, but also 72 copics and so far the copics are my fav. The touchfive markers look just like the ohuhu markers with full ink and it's not weird that ink dries in time. Because lots of markers have that problem :) but ohuhu is absolutely great so far i've seen.

As of now, Ohuhu has 120 color, however Touch has 204 and is now selling refills.
You say that the Touchfive markers are drained of ink, and proceed to say they are two years old. If the Ohuhu markers are new, whereas the Touchfives are not, it proves that it is not a fair test.
Can TOUCHFIVE be refill with ink?
It's Violet I think most marker types can be. I remember reading about people using other marker refill inks to refill their touch fives. You can also replace them individually. There's a touch five shop on aliexpress that sells separate markers or the brush tip version pretty cheaply per marker.
Basically the same marker. Ordered Ohuhu on Amazon. Received Touch5. Mine have a black coloured barrel.
Hello fellow artists, i'm a beginner and would like to purchase some decent markers. I was thinking about the Ohuhu markers but sadly they don't ship to where i live. I would love if someone could suggest some other cheap alternatives to copics.

I use ohuhu markers and I think that they are really good. Just a tip to make it less streaky use can just use the chisel tip, and make a couple layers

Personally, I'm going for Ohuhu as a cheaper alternative to my usual markers when they come out with the brush tip (Spectra AD and Winsor and Newton Promarkers/brushmarkers are my usual) because the TouchFive, while the colours are just as nice, they appear very streaky in this video.

I use the brush tip ohuhu markers and there is no streaking and blend well. I never used the touch markers but they look a bit streaky!

I prefer touch five markers cause they are the one i have and they are good but one thing you to shake the markers before using or it will just bleed alcohol and bleed bad in the papers
i'm actually debating on which of these two brands of markers i should get and honestly this is one of the best testing videos for it that i have seen...i would've liked to know if they bleed through the paper a lot, but aside from that it was a really good testing video, so thank u!

I got 168 TouchFives for free and they haven’t arrived yet and now I’m scared😭 all the marker reviews I’ve seen have been really bad
I am currently using, Artify markers, Copic markers, and Ohuhu like suggested. I first bought Ohuhu markers and you should buy them too, Because Other brands won't be as inked and as good and cheap except copics. I started a collection of Copics when it was my 11th birthday. My suggestion.
Use Ohuhu, Experience others like artify and touchfive, And if you want get a copic collection. Bam!

You can refills these. I have the touch new and refilled one of my dry ones with a copic refill or you can go on markerpop.com to find a refill though they dont carry all the colors but most
People would say the Ohuhu is better but if you own touchNew markers there actually pretty decent! And we could do more with the TouchNew then you think.

I currently have touchfive and I'm hoping to get Ohuhu markers for Christmas. I don't have very many complaints about touchfive except that my ink ran out rather quick. They are about a year or two old though so it's probably just that

I would get the ohuhu markers even tho they come with less markers because the ink is less patchy and they over all have more ink, the touch 5 are okay, but you might have to do more layers because the markers are alot more patchy but they still work. I feel like the touch 5 markers have less ink which would cause you to buy more refills so overall if i would choose one I'd choose ohuhu and thats what im coloring with now :)
Okay well everyone is making me feel horrible because I bought touchfive markers and everyone says that ohuhu is better. Oof. I ordered a pack of 60 markers from wish and now I’m waiting for them to arrive lol
I bought 60 ohuhu markers and 5 didn’t have much ink and the wider end on the black marker was almost like a brush nib but the little ink it had was like glue.
I have a 168 set of the TouchFives. I got them for $80 on amazon. Do you have all 168? If yes, how much were yours?
I do have 160 Touch Five markers, because I got 1 set (animation) and then later another set (fashion). I got both sets for €50 (the prize of one set by the time), because some markers of my first set were already empty. So I contacted Amazon, got my money back and I could keep the set. With the money I got back I have bought the second set :D
