In this Rite of lanterns, xingchiu, chongyun, xiangling, xinyan, Yunjin and baizhu appear at the beginning of 4.4 cutscene. You just have to pause the vid in 00:07 and zoom in 400x and you will see them on the balcony, the bridge and in the arch in the background.
To be honest the last 2 adeptus the two who looks like an npc looks like that because they don’t have plans yet to show the original design. They might show them on 5.5 or 6 . They just want you to know they exist but don’t have plans to show them yet. Probably for next lanterns season
Lantern rite is always so wholesome to experience......for me the best lantern rite has to be 2.4 because it was my first lantern rite just started playing the game a few months before it and my luck was crazy during that time..... it was shenhe, xiao, zhongli and ganyu I think and I got xiao,shenhe and zhongli 3 of them in like 40 - 50 wishes max....that was the craziest my luck has ever been and at that time I didn't even realize until much later how lucky I was....I didn't understand the pity system at all or how rare it was to get the characters like that.... I just thought it was normal to get 5 stars so easily considering I also got jean in my first 20 wishes in the game....my early game was decked out man 4 five star characters before I hit ar45 it was so cool..... and now I loose pretty much every 50/50 😂😭

I love liyue harbor especially the lantern rite it was gorgeous and the part where the lights go out was probably apart of that thing but yeah it was amazing now im stuck on a quest lmao
In lantern rite 5.x we may well have another adeptus as playable, maybe mountain shaper as a control/geo (can imprison targets in amber, shatter the amber deal geo damage around etc)
On 1.3 my AR was too low for the event and I didn't have much time to play because of the work. Then I stopped playing after 2.0 and resumed only at 3.3. Missed 3.4 event because of that (the conditions were not met). 4.4 was literally the first lantern rite event I was able to play, even though I've been playing since 1.1. It feels really frustrating to realize how much of beautiful content I've missed...
The only reason hoyo made moon carver and mountain shaper look like doodoo this lantern rite is because of Gaming’s story. Moon carver and mountain shaper needed to look like normal humans in order to fool Gaming into thinking they were bandits. I have a feeling that they may become playable in the next lantern rite, though.

Looks way cleaner now, but Lantern Rite Cutscenes have always been amazing anyway :D It’s crazy to think this is our fourth Lantern Rite! For everyone who has been playing forever, as well as me, ITS CRAZY HOW LONG ITS BEEN AND HOW MUCH WE REMEMBER! Genshin is basically a part of us now, we’ve grown with it and it’s crazy how invested we can get lol. But it’s also such a beautiful thing because it’s something to look back on as well and to see how everything has grown.

One of my favorite Lantern Rite easter eggs was last year when Childe got a real brief cameo. Even while in the Inazuma basements, boy's gotta visit Zhongli.
We got little interactions this year from the gang, cept for the adeptus and a couple others. Hu Tao didn't say a word and ningguang was just mentioned, the other 4 stars, apparently they were expensive or forgotten since they weren't even in the background. Still happy lantern rite!
The way character weren't released and some of those released ones were alone... it makes me sad, but it's like they started being friends when that character got released
Nadia(the fatui) is spoted near the stage/statue with the fatui guy(whike I was searching for John Lee)and I saw them(and then I took a photo), maybe they are the only fatui grunts I like
the fatui couple actually met up later, you can see them at the side of the central stage where they usually are in the pass years. like seriously, if they don't get merried next year i will rage LOL, even the old dude from Springvale has got his love story complete.
The fatui couple met after the events of the main scene though. They were at the docks talking about making a kite together so it's safe to assume they had a late date or managed to meet up eventually. Good for them. But honestly, I was waiting for Timeus to show up but he didn't. Made me sad when I saw her waiting there. Also, I was expecting Xinqiu but guess he was not popping up for this Lantern Rite. Maybe they have a hangout coming out soon for him? In Chenyu Vale perhaps? Another disappoinment is not finding Zhongli among the NPCs in or out of the Harbor. 😭
Guys, don't worry about the Fatui couple, they didn't have an appearance in any cutscene but you can eavesdrop on them after the ending of the second to last mission (after Gaming's performance) Turns out they're making plans to build a kite themselves instead of buying one Somehow I just noticed how single I am
We can actually see Xingqiu, Chongyun and what I believe to be Xiangling and Guoba for a second during the 4.4 cutscene flying kites together. You can barely see them though, sonce they are a bit covered by the crowd.

The fatui couple can actually be seen together in the 4.4 cutscene, they appear in the crowd but bearly noticeable
This is my 1st Lantern Rite, so I'm glad to see what past versions were like. I'm rooting for Fatui couple, I love how Adepti celebrate along with their people and OMG ZHONGLI! He almost always shows up with Hu Tao and the soft smile he gave her! He is such a father, please! 😳🥺🥺🤧🖤🖤🖤
I find it dirtier that xq & co isn't shown in this year latern rite, than npc skin adeptus. What is even the point give him new skin?

One of my favorite Lantern Rite easter eggs was last year when Childe got a real brief cameo. Even while in the Inazuma basements, boy's gotta visit Zhongli.
i was crying seeing the couples are eparated but burst in laugh when seeing the adeptus NPC disguise as treasure hoarder

she did meet him as much as i know, but they are very well hidden since they are very small in the screen
We got little interactions this year from the gang, cept for the adeptus and a couple others. Hu Tao didn't say a word and ningguang was just mentioned, the other 4 stars, apparently they were expensive or forgotten since they weren't even in the background. Still happy lantern rite!

The way character weren't released and some of those released ones were alone... it makes me sad, but it's like they started being friends when that character got released

Nadia(the fatui) is spoted near the stage/statue with the fatui guy(whike I was searching for John Lee)and I saw them(and then I took a photo), maybe they are the only fatui grunts I like
This year was more about the Adepti family. Though they only got NPC models. Ganyu and Shenhe replaced the original trio.
the fatui couple actually met up later, you can see them at the side of the central stage where they usually are in the pass years.
like seriously, if they don't get merried next year i will rage LOL, even the old dude from Springvale has got his love story complete.

The fatui couple met after the events of the main scene though. They were at the docks talking about making a kite together so it's safe to assume they had a late date or managed to meet up eventually. Good for them.
But honestly, I was waiting for Timeus to show up but he didn't. Made me sad when I saw her waiting there.
Also, I was expecting Xinqiu but guess he was not popping up for this Lantern Rite. Maybe they have a hangout coming out soon for him? In Chenyu Vale perhaps?
Another disappoinment is not finding Zhongli among the NPCs in or out of the Harbor. 😭
There will never be a mobile game with this much detail.

Guys, don't worry about the Fatui couple, they didn't have an appearance in any cutscene but you can eavesdrop on them after the ending of the second to last mission (after Gaming's performance)
Turns out they're making plans to build a kite themselves instead of buying one
Somehow I just noticed how single I am
We can actually see Xingqiu, Chongyun and what I believe to be Xiangling and Guoba for a second during the 4.4 cutscene flying kites together. You can barely see them though, sonce they are a bit covered by the crowd.
