555021 // First day in service + Ride!

Hello! Welcome to the CM Railways Channel and welcome onboard your new Metro Train service to Pelaw!
In this video I showcase the new 555 in service for the very first time! Including arriving at Haymarket, a ride from Monument to Gateshead Stadium, departing Pelaw, and then finally departing South Gosforth. Historic day indeed!

The Tyne and Wear Metro is an overground and underground light rail rapid transit system serving Tyne and Wear. It has 60 stations all together. It is owned and operated by Nexus.

Looks like a cross between the original Tyne & Wear Metro trains and the Merseyrail 777:-)

This looks very similar to the Stadler trains coming to MARTA this year in Atlanta.
Replacing the original trains for the system circa 1978.

Wow! I just googled it and they are similar. I think the new Merseyrail Class 777s would be a better match, however!

@CM_Railways yeah they're all Stadler "Metro" trains, just each with little tweaks for the customer.
US subways, for instance, have three sets of doors on each side of each car.
