I've been looking for this this will save me sooooo much time. I'm orchestrating a string section, generally I want the expression to be the same, now I can program this with one envelope instead of a dozen. Thank you for sharing this.
Also very useful when the parameter modulation option is smoother than controlling the knob directly, like those plugins that separate pitch controls by fine, semitone and octave.
Oh nice! It's so easy to setup, I remember trying to figure out how to get the enveloppe for parameters in Amplitube 4 a few months back and couldn't make it work, I'll start implementing that solution. Thanks!
@@TheREAPERBlog I'm happy to contribute a little bit to your work, you've been an incredible source of knowledge. I've learned a ton from your videos!.
Is there a tutorial for recording midi keyboard events (vol, pitch wheel) for reacontrollermidi so that the movement of the vol fader/pitch bend can be recorded in reaper automation? I cant find a way to record these movements
Thanks! Hey, at 3:46 when you move the automation point, the fade shape isn't linear, it's curved. How do you do that? I tried 'Default envelope point shape' but that wasn't it.
Hi man nice video but still don't find a solution for me , for example is I want to automate drive amp and clean amp ( not in two channel amp ) how to do it ?
Nice! I've never seen the "Show MIDI track control panel" menu entry, awesome! A question, does Reaper have an Envelope generator triggered by midi to assign to parameters? Thanks!
@@TheREAPERBlog you can alias a MIDI CC parameter. Then just draw an automation curve and finally midi learn within the plug-in itself. I do that instead of using ReaControlMIDI
Thanks John, glad to know there is an good option for automation on Amplitube limitations in the VST. :)

Thank you, cannot see why any dislikes this?
happened in the first 10min of publishing. I think someone gets up early to do that.
They must be drunk

Thanks Jon. Great tip for that particular situation.

my default point shape is slow start/end.
Do you know an alternative plugin to this to use in Ableton?
Thanks buddy, awesome stuff.
Does Reaper have the ability to give names to learned CCs in the Piano roll_?!
great tutorial but is there a chance to show how to change presets using midi notes?

Hello. Can I panning individual/seperately each of midi keys?
not easily

Possibly the JS: ReaRack2 - Envelope Multi-Tool
I haven't played with it yet
@@TheREAPERBlog yeah, it's true. I didn't remember it! Thanks! I think a tutorial series of ReaRack should be awesome ;)
Has anyone faced a strange behavior when deleting previously recorded mod wheel automation and re-recording it?
Thanks! It was very useful!
Please make video MIDI Automating with Vienna Ensemble Pro.
could you pls share this plugin link in the description. it's not available in reaper stash
this is included with reaper.
@@TheREAPERBlog sorry I meant, the other one....pitchwheel control center . I downloaded the latest reapack but it's not seen there
Super useful info, thanks!
Thanks for this great video!!!
Thanks for the neat tip!
is it possible to output this via physical MIDI output? if yes, then Reaper can become replacement for entire QLab show automation O.o
yeah you can output MIDI to hardware. I've seen people doing camera and lighting switches from reaper with MIDI.
I use the alias functionality instead. It does the same thing, I think.
alias = name of parameter

I can't figure that out. could you show me that with Syntronik? It's free.
Nifty!
