I Love your tank. I myself started using ATI Essentials just this month. I used to use Aquaforest components 1+2+3+. . But I find it hard to get it since mostly they're out of stock and expensive. Glad I found ATI Essentials.
So far so good. I currently dosing 25 ml per 24 hr period for my 150 Gal tank. My Alk is a little low @ 6.5 , Magnesium@ 1270. And Calcium a little high @ 460. This measurements were taken prior the ATI Essentials dosing. I'm going to test water again after 5-7 days to see where my levels are. Any input?
Yeah I noticed something similar, calcium spiking with Mg and Alk high(er). I have since then halved the Calcium dosing and now it stays relatively stable...
Dutch Reefer After three days of dosing and tuning my doser pumps. I got my Calcium @ 430. Kh @7.7 and Mg @1170. Yesterday I bumped up the dosers extra +2 increments. I'm hoping today's reading will be just right

Hi Anton. The gyre seems to be creating a good surface turbulence even though it is about 10cm ? below the water. Have you angled the rotors up some how or is this my imagination? Thanks.

Hi Nico, in the mean time I swithed to ATI Essentials Pro, since they contain more elements and there's just two bottles. If you want to use CNP for nutrient control just use the calculator on the ATI website!
Hi, can you please tell me if these bottles are supposed to be sealed at the top?my have just arrived, but there is no seal underneath the screw cap. So could be filled with anything!Also one of the labels is a bit wonky! Just want to make sure ive got the right stuff as ive spent small fortune upto now on corals!.Look forward to your response. Hi Rory, nope they are not sealed at all, which also surprised me a bit. They even tend to leak a bit if you squeeze them with the cap screwed on tight. I'd assume that it's safe to use it if you got it straight from your LFS though.

I see u use ati essentials but do you also give the lps and sps coral amino acid in an bothle and coral food? Ore just light and ati essentiel? Dose carbon dosing work also to reduce no3 and po4 so les water changes are needed?
Hi Brandon, I also feed amino acids (Korallenzucht) and Masstick. Carbon dosing helps to reduce NO3 and PO4 indeed, and ultimately it will also reduce the need for water changes.
I'm moving to ATI essentials from FM Balling lite in about a week time, has been dosing my tank for almost 3-4 yrs Below amounts are Approx per day, Tank is 275Ltrs 80ml KH 20ml Ca 8-9ml Mg Recommended 2:1:1 Ratio what is best ml(numbers) to start with.
Hi Klyn, I actuall returned to classis Balling salts a few weeks ago, since the ATI Essentials didn't really fly for me... Also, the dosing of ATI Essentials would be around 40-60ml for each to start with I guess.
Thanks for the reply, reason I'm moving is to get away from water changes even thou its not my weekly or even monthly routine, have changed 4-5 times since last summer but balling has never been out of wack for me in past -3-4 years, (Fauna Marin that is has ran flawlessly).. Hopefully I will find some balance right soon with essentials as I really hate testing and chasing numbers.

How much do you dose cause i just dose 4ml a day of all 3 but is that enough cause i use nutritions cnp to? Or do i just only need essentials 123

Nopox does not have effect on reducing PO4 At all. I suspected the PO4 was reduced by GFO in your reactor hidden on left side of the carbinet.
What GFO are you referring to?

What do you feed corals with
Nothing specific, I assume they eat from the mysis and krill I feed daily, and some Masstick. Also, some phyto by Easy Reefs once a week
Are you still dosing the ATI essentials?
Nope! Gave up on them after 6 months, I'm back to my Balling Classic which I had been using since 2014 :)
