MFO: Episode 32: Obsession Night by Calvin Klein (2005) "Devine Pear"

Obsession Night is the second flanker of the original 1986 classic Obsession, but this is nothing like the original, a much sweeter, more musk based fragrance for the younger crowd. I like to call this the younger son of the original Obsession.

Yeah Col this is an interesting fragrance to be honest with you, I think the smell is too bright, to alert, too fruity with the pear note to be an evening scent, I've wore it on a night and it doesn't work as well, but with the day, it works a lot better, I get complimented on it, it is worth the blind buy, you won't hate it, it may be a bit synthetic, but it's not a bad fragrance on any level what so ever. It's completly different to the original Obsession too! Nothing like it, in fact, this should have another name, it should be a completly new fragrance, thanks for commenting!

Interesting you say about being more appropriate for day. I use Bvlgari Soir as a daytime/work fragrance despite the title suggesting evening wear. Definitely curious about this one. As you say, it is inexpensive, so might be worth a blind buy.

I blind bought this off amazon in the UK a few years ago as I liked the old classic version. This was garbage though as was Dark Obsession which I also bought! The first review of yours I saw was of Escape (which was excellent by the way!) which I do really like and is back from when Calvin Klein were running things and making some classics rather than churning our crap flankers.

Worst fragrance I have ever smell, when I sprayed it... man I want it to die as quickly as possible.
