therealist811 I am not a casual. I love combat sports. MMA is as close as we're gonna get to a street fight/fight to the death simulation. A lot of things that Floyd does to win would not work well outside of the boxing ring. He can't lean back against the ropes. Referee won't separate the clinch. If it went to the ground there isn't a referee to bring it back up to the feet. "Fighting wins fights"? Yeah. But Mayweather has proven that being the best at playing within the rules means you never lose.
Even if we're not talking about an MMA fighter fighting Floyd on the streets. If it was Cotto, Pac or Canelo Floyd would be knocked out within a minute.

It takes precise, calculated footwork, faints, jabs and counters to even set up any sort of "fight changing" punch. Conor is simply outclassed. There will be no miracle tomorrow night. He is playing chess for the first time on a high level and he is playing against a Grandmaster. Floyd has finessed the world again and will coast EASILY to 50-0. TKO victory or McGregor and his team will quit before the 8th round. This will not be a competitive contest in any way shape or form.

Nope there are lucky shots but Floyd's the type of fighter who greatly diminishes shots like that landing. That's why he is the best ever. It will be a long time before we find a fighter with the composure and ring IQ of Floyd. The guy toyed with Conor. Floyd usually fights a lot more defensive yet wasn't backing down the entire fight.
