I recently got my SRPE57K1, with gilted hands and indices, I am in love with this ever since its launch...installed a croc pattern strap with deployant clasp... My next target would be Grand Seiko vintage watches
nice video,the first mechanical watches I bought were seiko 5 7009 series in the late 80s when along with citizen eagle7 they were virtually the only affordable non quartz watches available......
I cannot think of any other watch brands that would offer a quality technicalities + affordability + an incredible history..... The buck stops at Seiko ( Grand Seiko and King Seiko) The only company with 100% of its parts made in-house
My seiko srpd55 with 4r36 is running at +3 seconds per day ! I'm blown away with it , I have a Rolex yachtmaster that is about 16yrs old that is running at +11 seconds fast per day , granted the Rolex needs a servicing but I'm still blown away
Been wearing a seiko since I was 18 and could afford a nice one. I’m 24 now and have 3 seiko and people ask me how I got such nice watches and think they were my grandpas or something lol
A mutt with perfect paws would beat a limping pure breed in a fight through. They're just watches at the end of the day mate. Don't take them too seriously 😉

I just wish they would take off that 5 logo..plus I love the 7s26 movement, but I also hate that is doesn't Hand wind or hack..

Hard Lex is in almost every modern Seiko unless it says sapphire crystal it is not exclusive to the sports 5 new edition

If your Seiko doesn't have the Made in Japan stamp, you're wearing nothing but a mutt watch
I have a made in Japan Seiko SKX007 with a misaligned bezel. Don't have that problem with my not made in Japan Seiko 5 Sports GMT though 😂
