Again Darren, you did a great job. I still love the bricks. I'm so glad you saved and reused them.Youre costumer found a "golden nugget" in you as a builder.
Great work Darren. Top tip, once the desired depth is reached with a Forstner bit, knock the drill into reverse, apply a little bit force and it'll clean up nicely.
Some work done today Darren and looking good. A couple of sockets could have had USB plugs in them for charging things like radio/phone etc but just an idea. Cheers and stay well.
been following the build from start it has come together very nicely you and the team should be very proud of yourselfs ...... welldone to you and all the best for 2023
Awesome work as per usual. 👌One thing I noticed is there seems to be a bit of a gap in between the under cooker cabinets and the left hand cabinets. Not sure if its an optical illusion or not. 🤔
1:50 All of those sockets in the corner of the kitchen look awful. They spoil what is a really nice kitchen. I would have hidden the spurs in the back of a unit and who really needs 4 double sockets in one corner? Other than that I think the everything looks great! Top job as always!
You can't have enough sockets in a practical kitchen. When you are restricted by the zone around the sink they are difficult to place. I think the 8 provided in a discrete corner under the corner cabinet was a very good solution. I might be wrong but I thought regs state that all sockets located behind appliances have to be switched from above the worktop level. e.g. hob, dishwasher, tumble drier, washing machine, oven. Back to sockets at worktop level; the number of mains kitchen appliances most people have is significant (Radio, phone/tablet chargers, smart hubs, toasters, coffee grinder, coffee maker, hand blender, stand mixer, bread maker, blender, food processor, sandwich maker, George Formby grill, air fryer, induction hub, kettle, etc.). I have plenty of socket outlets but still have two extra 4 way extension cords connected.
Agree i have the m18 milwaukee impact driver and use it all the time this thing is a beast all you have do it use it on speed 1 and control the trigger for delicate work, it dosent impact at all if you are easy on the trigger, some people just like point out everything for crying out loud they need to get a life keep up the good work D @@darrenthebuilder
@Build and repair and restore you mentioned you were going to plug the holes on the washing machine door. How would you do that as not shown in the vid? It wouldn't be totally necessary right as it would mostly be unseen. However I get it if you want a complete look.
@@shoudd hi Shay, it’s very simple. There are white round plans if pieces that insert into the holes. They are like these: www.diy.com/departments/white-cover-cap-dia-35mm-pack-of-4/254621_BQ.prd
The bricks/brickwork looks amazing 👍
Thankyou
Great stuff. I think I'd personally gone for metal switches and sockets not plastic, but that's personal taste I guess.

Brilliant work again
Great video again mate brilliant detail

Thankyou I will keep that in mind 👍🏾
Great progress. It won't be long now, maybe a week or two.
Merry Christmas Darren
Hope you get some down time over the festive period

Looking good 👍🏻
great job
Some of perps look massive on brick work
Not sure about the white electrical sockets against the white tiles
Chrome might look better
@@tf2368 I agree
Never use an impact drill for fitting hinges asking for bother
if you know how to handle it carefully theres no problem. If you dont then i agree dont try it. Its all about control/skill :)

Well they have a finish bathroom for Christmas
Good question.
@@mrddb8695 yes I do you need a working bathroom and a kitchen for Christmas day
Very nice but where’s MJ
He's back tomorrow. He's been unwell
Why don't you just flip the door around instead of drilling new holes for the hinges?
The holes dont line up so i must cut new holes
