    I bought 10 of the MBT-2s for like $75 a while back. Simply cannot beat these for the price and I was happy to support LaRue making a point by cutting Geissele knees.
    Also, sweet beard man.

    Geissele is better because they cost more. Geissele used to be even betterer because they used to cost even more. LaRue used to be the best when they cost more, but then they reduced their price and got worser. And, just tp prevent this vicious rumor from spreading, Geissele reducing their price from $250 to $150 has NOTHING to do with thousands of people switching from Geissele to LaRue, which are worser, because they still cost less. NOTHING!

    Solid video. Just remember that on a 2-stage trigger it’s not called take up.
    It’s called the “1st-stage”. Small thing but terminology is important.

    Damn and I remember seeing the LaRue for 85, if not less when you buy 3 or more. I should've bought them then instead I paid full price recently and was pleasantly surprised by how good it is for the price. Thanks for the review, your sentiments seem to echo what many of us who have tried the more expensive Geissele triggers and the MBT2S think/say. It's excellent for the money for a good 2 stage trigger.

    I have several Larue MBT-2S, Thousands of rounds though them. I own several Geissele, thousands of rounds as well. For the price, battle proven or not. The Geissele is not worth the absolute minor difference. The point of a 2 stage trigger for me is two fold. 1) I use it as a safety. 2) I use it to steady my shot on target. The biggest failure point on AR style rifles is the weak cast trigger. pulling the trigger in a high stress environment as fast as you can, you will NEVER notice the difference. Larue and Geissele are both machined steel. I will pay for the Larue any day at less than half the price. My first three were $75 apiece, My Geissele's make me choke on the price difference.

      I got one for that price, still worth it in my opinion. As good if not better than Geissele SSA, but not quite as good as the SSA-E, imho. Well worth the price where it stands now for a 2 stage trigger.

  • @Hustler_state
    @Hustler_state Рік тому +3

    Geissele have thentime on them, but what i find i prefer more is the face on the triggers. The larues feel much wider on my finger tips. I think the ssae are a faster trigger for follow up or dounle taps, but not by much. The larue has a homenfor people who dont want to spend the money, but when ssae are on sale for 149 ill take the ssae over larues all day. But i def think larues are excellemet triggers and punch way above the price point. The geissles your paying for that battle testing, and overal quality. Ive neve used any sibgle stage giessles but i own some 3.5lb velocity triggers and they are decent, but far prefer the mbt andnthe ssa ssae over them.

    I love the larue flat blade trigger… couldn’t be any more satisfied with the first stage take up and second stage break is clean as it gets… spending twice or more for any other brand is just not worth it in my opinion…

    The curved trigger MBT is completely flat across the face. It has no rounded edges on the sides so it feels less refined under the finger in my opinion. Even milspecs are chamfered

  • @yeshua1176
    @yeshua1176 Рік тому

    I have an mbt2s with flat face for $90 it's nice I've had a geissele g2s that overall was more crisp with a lighter cleaner break but im sure after enough rounds thru the larue it'll break in nicely. If i had to choose I'd go with geissele again cause they go on sale several times a year for just over a hundred dollars and the trigger shoe feels much better I'm not a huge fan of a really wide trigger shoe that larue uses

    • @BigFootGunner
      @BigFootGunner  Рік тому +2

    Why are you comparing apples to oranges? The SDE and SSAE are both very light triggers, around 3 pounds. The larue is 4-4.5 pounds. SSAE is designed for long distance shooting and precise shooting, and Larue is more for combat and HD.

    • @BigFootGunner
      @BigFootGunner  Рік тому +7

      Why compare? Simple, because a lot of people can’t afford Geissele’s in all of their ARs so it’s just a helping hand video to demonstrate to some people that this is what you get out of a $240 dollar trigger compared to the Larue MBT.

    Your better off buying anything but larue. Larue will eventually be out of buisness due to his stupidity in trigger sales. Mark larue changed the trigger process also. He went from milling each trigger to having them molded because he doesn't have competent ppl to do the machining because he's laid off most of the ppl that had the knowledge to mill those triggers lol.

    • @bravo9026

      I’m not a Mark Larue fan at all, far from it. But I do NOT believe he went cast. I’m always certain these are still machined from S7.
