I am still always smiling at how people comment on Ben's play, (forget abut all his receipts for crushing the games) they "talk" to Ben as if he is one of their $5 Buy-in bros . Anyway love the video and thanks for the inside look at live play at highest level.
14:07 "he could easily have 83s" - this is pretty irrelevant isn't it? You split vs every worse 8X, so valuejaming against other trips is not the point in this hand at the River.
In the J8 hand there are 2 logical statements: A.This player is capable of overbet bluffing the river B.This player is overbet bluffing the river in this SPOT You are extrapolating A into B which is a comment mistake in Cognitive Reasoning because A is not the same as B i.e this is a very dry board and not a good spot to bluff after 2 calls and Darvin knows it.You need 40% bluffing frequancy from him for your call to be correct getting 1.5:1 and he is never bluffing this spot so much. Great vid Ben keep them coming
Idk about the 2x call with J8 at 9:25ish. (If you had the Jack of diamonds, instead of hearts, I think you can definitely fold then... on occasion.) That is a VERY difficult board to bluff on. And, what bluffs does he even have in his range? He's going to check-back most of his ace-high hands on the flop or turn. Kx of diamonds? 7-9 of diamonds? (Those are possible 3-barrel bluff candidates, I guess.) 44-55? (Those are straight blockers, but they have show-down value, turning them into a 3-barrel bluff seems like an odd line.) Don't get me wrong, you HAVE to call there a large portion of the time, but, watching this for the first time, my instincts SHOUTED at me "HE'S BEAT! HE'S BEAT!"
Um, what kind of bet was that at 16:40 by Darwin ("The best tournament player in the world.") A 2/3's pot-sized river-bet with 3rd pair? Was that a bluff? Was that for value? WTF Was that?
a bad value bet... he doesnt make many bad ones thats rare. probaby because hes playing Bencb he is willing to take very marginal spots as his edge is small or nonexistent anyway
mich hatte die werbung interessiert ,ich dachte du kannst mir etwas dazu sagen.....aber soo wichtig ist es auch nicht ..danke für deine antwort trotzdem gr.. und congratz zum 1st platz..weiter so
Ben Müller I guess he’s asking if Bencb supports the random UA-cam advertising on his channel. But I’ve never seen advertisements myself cos I use a adblocker lol
i dunno his line is not terrible, but not great either. pre i think you mostly wanna be flatting at 60 bigs, and 3bet more when you are deeper stacked as you are not going to get jammed on and throw away your equity. but the 3bet is fine. calling the 4bet is questionable, as you are gonna be playing a pot with 9 high and spr one on the flop, vs a range where even the bluffs such as Axo have around 60% vs your hand. so i think folding is best and then just call a hand such as 98s instead. although with the price he is getting pre, and as the bb is going to be 3betting a bunch of junky off suit hands that are going to be snap folding vs a 4bet, then i think the call is okay. on the flop is where i think his play is the worst. Ben isn't even going to fold A high vs the all in, cos CD rarely has a pair, and mostly has either a straight or flush draw. so A highs (bar perhaps the weakest ones such as A2o) have enough equity to call off. so i think he wants to just call and play a turn, spike a pair and then stack off, or bluff if the turn goes xx in order to balance out the times he has a slow play such as AA/KK or some random trips combo. the flop jam only really folds out some random K/Q highs that decided to 4bet bluff and didn't make trips or a pair.
That was fun. Do you ever live stream? I would watch the heck out of that. You could have just two or three of your more interesting tables in view for you to talk about, with your other 26 tables hidden from us. Thanks for the vid!

Its funny how it works. You refuse the deal - a little sign of disrespect and greatest mtt player founds himself out of his comfort zone and quickly turns into an amateur. At this point lack of HU skills cant be an obstacle for you. ;)
3:48 looks like the table of nightmares
2:32 How you fold Qx? All queens in heads up that a standart defend of our range.
he also doesnt limp 84o 50d IP ... seems he didnt study the format
Also surprised by that fold
19:09 BenCB's excitement level after winning 28K

Impressive that he predicted what would happen and the other guys hand..

Loved the video, Ben! it's great to see the best players in the world battling, waiting for part 2
We are happy to hear that, we just uploaded part 2!
What was the reason for not doing a deal vs c Darwin HU?
Ego Reasons
@@eurodreamps820 Smart answer.
Cuz hes better :)
@@Juliantjennn Not sure about that :) Bencb really good but his stats are hidden so we don't really know, Darwin is a real crusher.
coz he had already fired 3 bullets in the tournament maybe
Hey sorry for the noob question, but each time you click your cards isn’t that showing your opponent the card you clicked?
No :)

Yes part 2 coming soon!
@@RaiseYourEdge how soon?! XD
Ben, in last hand, is it OK to call 4bet with 97s with flop SPR=1?
I think that C.Drarwin calls is for player range not for SPR probally. That guys play another level of poker in this Hightakes.
amazing content as always Ben
Glad you enjoy it! Our pleasure!
@ 4:50 when you click on your hole cards like that, aren't you exposing them to the entire table?
nah, only if they are "clicked" when you fold. - Whilst your hand is still active it does not show the cards no matter what.
Nice ONE ☺♥ Congrats Ben, Thank you for the Video.
Hey bencb, where is the rest of the series "heads up with"? I loved it.
Ben did a heads up series with Steffen Sontheimer, you can check it out at our playlists!
awesome session Ben.. BTW what is your car buddy?
Ben actually doesn't own a car
hey ben, great video. How do you color code people?
Ben's tags are personal 😉
The donkey called the preflop 4-bet with 97. Then it played check/raise all-in with a gutshot and a backdoor flushdraw on the flop.
It's refreshing to see that even the top wizards are still capable of spewy plays.

Two questions: 1. Why no limping range HU? 2. What's the reasoning behind the 4x 3bet size? Wouldn't 3x be adequate?
Cuz limping is for pussy ass fish
Their a bit too deep to implement limping strat. I think 25bb and less you start limping
Great video, thanks.
Genuinely shocked to see C.Darwin turn up 97ss. Pure donkicide.
I'm sure also pro players often make mistakes, and it's even subjective in poker if a certain move is a mistake or not...

In the 10:00 j8 hand vs darvins 22 you had imo timing tell on the turn. You wouldn't call so fast with a slow played monster
Mhm yes and C Darwin obviously missed Ben's tank 4-bet that is never a bluff in the last hand obviously 😏😏
Yes I would call so fast
