- DOOM GUY! Finally! Not the modern Doomslayer guy, that McFarlane fig was awful, this is a huge improvment at the very least asthetically. Doom Guy! He can't hold his gun.

I only wish he came with a few more accessories, but this is definitely a "dream come true" figure. Can't wait to get mine.
They nailed the asthetics, would love an unhelmeted bloody version.

He's got enough poseability for me. Good price for a great looking Doomguy that has enough articulation to get most if not all the poses I'd really care to put him in.
Honestly one of the best and funniest figure reviews I’ve ever seen! Wish he had a bit more articulation and accessories, maybe fist hands and a chainsaw, and just a classic double barrel shotgun, but overall I love this figure! He’s like something right out of the 90s

Don't worry, from what I know about his Doom line of figures, he really loves to repaint the same mold so, he may just come out with the figure but a different color

@@toyshelv Really? I tried doing that on the first Doom Slayer, but only stressed the plastic. Is the plastic on this figures flame belch softer?
@@shawnotoole9195 I think all around, the plastic on this release is muhc softer. More like typical DCU stuff he puts out vs the first Doomslayer. Defintiely the first release was wau wau stiffer plastic.

so ima make the final statement about this redesign and it's a question(yes I know that makes no sense) am i the only person who hates the redesign of the helmet compared to the OG cover art? it's too wide on the sides (for the little face vents) and doesn't keep the same feel.

he no longer retains the fly like appearance as his face is far too human and smooth looking compared to the jutted jagged mask it previously was.
yea this looks good on its own merits but it is NOT the same and I've yet to see anything keep the same design, idk if it's because it's Non-Euclidan (doesn't conform to the laws of physics and wouldn't be able to have a human head in it) but in any case awesome review of a mediocre recreation. many awesome body molds though just nobody has gotten or really attempted to get the mask right.

This figure looks amazing, the only gripe I have with it is the bright green on the armour, since the suit is a darker green.
I can only imagine over time the soft rubber will begin to tear which is the most sad thing about the figure, nonetheless still looks really good!
the bright green is more accurate to doom eternal
It was a bright green on the original sprite as well
I could def see the light green having plastecizer problems over time. He's really just gonna stand around menacingly. He's a decent "gap filler" kind of size.

@@silvarknite7 Defnitely cop a Mcfarlane UltraMarine! They're really quite good and the weapons rule. The Battle Sister also has very cool guns tha tI think would arguably work even better than this Bolter.

McFarlane Ultramarine, comes with a chainsaw and this Bolter. It's an awesome fit.
