ALL phones…even the foldable market after six years (mostly Samsung) isn’t doing much, plus they raised the price. They (Apple) could add things faster NO DOUBT😳, but no one is on fire. Foldable phones are nice, but aside from different form factors…nothing. The software doesn’t even allow you to go full screen without forcing it. If someone makes a foldable like two (regular sized) phones folded and the software is cohesive…that’s a wrap. I won’t hold my breath.

Jesus!" and then I was watching it back and just rolled my eyes that those are the options! I do think the colors are better, but I just want something fun. I'd go Product(RED) in a heartbeat!
Apple no longer innovates like it used to, little by little it is falling behind in the technological world, and I say little by little. Other brands have caught up with it and even surpassed it (globally). A quick example is the latest Pixel 9 Pro XL which already comes with all the artificial intelligence of GEMINI (and owned by Google) and with 16 GB of RAM, and another is the Galaxy S24 Ultra, etc. This latest iPhone 16 Pro is a disappointment, I really expected more from Apple, the second button on the iPhone is like a fingerprint sensor without really being one, plus it only changes colors and is a little thinner or a little bigger here or there, that's all, what? And Apple Intelligence for when? By 2025? They have really fallen behind in the development of artificial intelligence, it's obvious. Several years ago Apple set the route, it set the trends, today in 2024 unfortunately it no longer does so.
You can say stuff like Google gemini has surpassed Apple but that's going to be your opinion. Apple could do just as much if it wanted to but it's doing stuff on-device or with private cloud compute which is way harder to pull off. If you look at on-device image editing of magic eraser and apple's clean up tool it's a massive difference at how much better Apple's is. But they're building in support for Gemini too if people prefer that and to give up that privacy.
Before, several years ago, Apple was the leader, it was the first to announce the innovations in technology, Apple previously set the trend, but all that was before.@@AppleInsider
I just met 1 of the lead engineers for Apple on the IPhone design team. The person told me they work & have these phones completed 2-4years in advance! My interpretation: Very small increments…so they can slowly bleed out everyone’s money.
My I Phone 8 is probably due for an upgrade, but I'm certainly interested in either the Iphone 15 Pro, or 16 Pro, mostly because I'm interested in the LiDAR scanner. I do GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for a living, so I'm interested in seeing how useful the LiDAR scanner is for forestry and Archaeology related tasks.
