Sounds just the sounder bases for Simplex TrueAlarm smoke detectors. Boy I heard that way too many times in the fall 2023 semester and will always remember that sound

They work great when actually taken care of. Make sure you clean them every month from dust, cobwebs, and bugs and replace their batteries every year so they work properly without false alarms. Replace the alarm every 8 years for a new one. Also be mindful on where they are that may constantly cause alarms like the kitchen, bathroom, garage, and attic are very bad spots.

It’s not the box horn it’s the smoke alarm next to the smoke detector
Sounds almost like my apartments alarms except my apartment uses gentex's mini horns
So they don’t use the traditional code 3
This was my friends apartment I have Spector alert mini horns in mike as the MC strove horn
@@matthewgregory8218 It is traditional code 3, but super loud as some apartments have alarms in rooms
@@VOLTRONDEFENDER4440 oh my gosh and they have smoke alarms in the rooms as well gentex smoke alarms to ?
@@matthewgregory8218 yes, smoke alarms only really go off when smoke has gone into it but the hush/test button is their to silence the smoke alarm
