@Recycled Racing kool can't wait to see it running. I've been aiming to holler at you just to see how things are going just been busy and forget. If you need anything just holler we'll be happy to help.
Have you I.D.'d that rear diff.? That doesn't look like an 8.2 cover. 70 and up chevelles were supposed to come with an 8.5 , with a smooth cover like that. They were just a tad weaker than a 12 bolt,...so I hear. Suspension is fun to build, good job!
I am aware of the 8.5s being in some cars. I can't find them or a 12 bolt cheap anymore. Mine is for sure an 8.2. No notches on the bottom of the pumpkin. Its the weak one for sure.
@@RecycledRacing ok, just thought id throw it out there. Ive never seen 12 bolts below $600. And that was before the whole craziness we went thru as a country. I have seen 70 10 bolts for around $300, but never had my hands on 1 to id it.
@@cuzz63 its funny how some articles say 1972, others say 1973, and others still say 1970. I can definitely say i saw a 1970 chevelle with a 8.5 10 bolt, and it was original looking. But of course being a 50 plus year old car, anything is possible. But i will definitely also say this, if i come across a cheap 8.5 10 bolt from under a 70ish chevelle, ill buy it and ask questions later.
Sweet finally a roller again
More parts should be rolling in soon. Hopefully I can get this beast running before the warm months!!

I appreciate the knowledge. I'm always looking to learn new things!!
the 8.5" 10 bolt was never available in a chevelle until '73
