Or, is it better to work on what feels like it needs work on..

@@johndee2990I know I'm just randomly commenting, but it depends on what you're writing, like if it's creative writing, write short bullet points on each chapter and write in chronological order-- this makes you feel like you're experiencing the story the same way as the reader and can therefore see what flaws may come up. And don't edit anything until the end.
If it's any other kind of writing, just write whatever section you feel compelled to write.
But even if you're not having a good writing day, just write something, even 50 words is alright. Just keep the rhythm going until you've finished your writing.

It reminds me of the philosophy of Stoicism. The simplest most basic idea of it is Self Determination. Life is only suffering if you decide it is, this doesn’t have to be a problem, the more time you spend wishing and dreaming the less fulfilling your life is, if you want to do something stop saying it and do it. Things like that. You don’t have control of the world, but you do control yourself and that’s more important.

That's just the surface and use of the paradigm to paint him as bad. His REAL crime is serious heterodoxy of opinion, educating people (men and women) , and giving them an exciting adventure where they can actually use the knowledge outside any belief or propositional ideology, and he has specific elements of agreement with each camp, and disagreements that make people think. On top of this he's meeting the best people across different views, and delving into deep topics, and controversial areas for the 21st century, with people like Iain McgilChrist, John Vervaeke, and Roland Griffiths, to Bret Weinstien, Pageau the late Sir Roger Scruton, and is also bringing the real Austrian libertarians into the discussion, which forces a real discussion between both them and conservatives that both are going to have to admit their BS and interpenetrative overlaps in, and the libertarian bubble, as well as Fox News can't platform control it. Add to that exposing the country to Jung and Nietzsche is something blue church Jungian New Age, and red meat Christian fundamentalism all the way to hollow populist and neoconservative positivism don't want. Peterson is like the most loved and hated man there is, across all groups, instead of just a left vs right dichotomy.

Jordan Peterson came to our campus a few weeks ago. It was honestly something special. The purpose of the speech was Free Speech and Totalitarianism, but he went through so much more than that. Free Speech is as important to our mental health as it is in our society. There were so many people in there who had been impacted by him, and he even stayed afterwards to sign books. If there was anything I learned about him from that speech, it’s that he is an honest, compassionate person, despite all the slander that has been put forth to him. He attended a small breakfast event the next morning, and a few friends and I got the opportunity to speak to him. What made it stand out to me was just how many people he had helped with his books. I had honestly never read 12 Rules for Life, because I never thought I would need it. I’m on chapter three now, and already I’m starting to understand just what made it so special. Bless him and his family. They are truly amazing people.

I had a Catholic Therapist who convinced me to join a gym, and I started watching Jordan Peterson and Jocko Willink’s videos and I started cleaning up my life. I haven’t harmed myself since I started changing, and I’ve been on a path to go to school for my passion and have been flourishing with making friends, and also learned to endure long hours. My five year goal hasn’t been met yet, I’m still on the path of adventure.
