Girl you do NOT ever have to justify what you feed your babies!!! You are an awesome mom and feeding em what they like and what they will eat! You’re killin it: i love your videos sooo much
Feeding a child what they like all the time is also doing them an injustice. This is why people are so overweight and children have no concept of health.
@@KristinStepp right?! Haha but those rolls are SO good! My kids like those Tyson honey mini chicken tender pieces. Have you tried those yet? They have a sweet taste in the breading. We love them! Thanks for the lunch ideas. Enjoyed this video!
I wish you were packing my lunch! On behalf of all the teachers who have lunch duty, thank you for making the lunches so prepared. We spend a crazy amount of time opening bottles and microwaving.
These kids are so picky! I watch these videos all day trying to be a good mommy to my pre-k kid (1st born) and I still end right back at PB&J and cheez-it’s 😩 glad to know I’m not the only one struggling. Thanks for the inspiration. ❤
@@Lifeaslatisha you are definitely not alone! My kids will watch videos with me and pick out recipes to try. Then still only want what they always have, 😂 🤷🏻♀️
You’re not alone! My kid won’t eat pb&j or sandwiches of any kind, or meat or cheese or tortillas or most fruits and vegetables. Lol he literally eats crackers and yogurt most days and I’ve tried everything so as long as he’s eating something I consider it a “win”
Nothing worse than sleeping through the alarm and feeling rushed! Sure to put me in a mood! My motto when it comes to kids lunches, pack what they will eat so their brain has the energy it needs to learn! When someone else steps up to pack my kids lunches then and only then can they tell me what to put in it! Good job Mama🎃👻
Although it’s just lunch, I’m sure your kids will remember the special touches you add to make them feel loved! Those Halloween napkins and sprinkles made me think about the little things my mom added to my lunch box when I was a kid! :)
I’m obsessed with your videos. This is so real. Kids eat what they eat so I always have a hard time watching most videos because my kids will not. My 7 year old is autistic and very limited and my daughter is VERY sensory sensitive so food is hard. So thank you!
My kids are NOT snackers and don't like sandwiches so packing a lunch was challenging! So I made lots of soups and spaghetti for thermoses and fresh fruit.. You have very realistic ideas for busy moms!
Yum! Girl those lunches look delicious! It’s good to see someone giving their children food that they like. Not trying to impress with food that the kids don’t like! Looks like that spaghetti was definitely a hit! Your a wonderful Mama!
You are so creative. I wouldn’t think of half of these things to pack for lunch. I love everyone of your ideas, even down to the simple napkin and sprinkles! I can watch your videos all day (for real for real). Absolutely love them. Please keep them coming!
I love that you are so honest. I’d be tempted to show empty lunchboxes, but you’re keeping it real and transparent! Wrote down mozzarella sticks and pudding on my grocery store list;)
Thanks for the ideas! We thankfully don’t have to worry about peanut allergies where I am either. They actually offer a PB&J as an alternative for hot lunch everyday.
Since the kids liked the mozzarella sticks, you could prime your thermoses and put them in there and see if that keeps them warm. I love your videos. Thanks for sharing everything.
Even though it's been years since we had kids at home, I really love your lunch box videos. You put such love and fun into their lunches. Very proud of you for adding your special touch to what you do for your family. Good job!
Always appreciate when you share these. They give me ideas to share with my bonus son and daughter-in-law for our oldest grandson. Thank you for sharing.
You should try putting the corn dogs and mozzarella sticks in the thermos. Prime them first. I wrap it in a paper towel to prevent moisture/sogginess it works great.
I just found your channel and i absolutely LOVEEEEEE how normal these lunches are. My kiddos are 10, 8 and 5. This is the first year they want to bring lunches to school and I am so happy I found you on YT. All the lunches are simple, easy and dont make me feel guilty for not being fancy are sending them to school with food we normally eat at home anyway. ❤ thank you for sharing and being so relatable
Thank you so much for sharing. I love how you pre- open their juice bottles. My son has to pre-open juice bottles for me too and I'll be 60 in October. My goodness, the children and the old people have to extra strength
I love watching your videos bc my 6 year old daughter has developmental delays, feeding aversion, sensory processing disorder and gets supplemental tube feeds. I literally have the hardest time getting her to eat certain foods orally it’s such a battle. She has all of her “ preferred” foods and only since starting school has she tried more new foods. I struggle trying to come up with things to put in her lunch but watching your videos helps. You talk a lot about your son having certain favorite foods or foods you know he will eat that’s how my daughter is. We go in a few months for testing to determine if there may be some other issues going on like a mild ASD. Keep making your videos they are such a help for us struggling moms with picky kiddos.
Good afternoon Kristin. Excellent video. You kids should be grateful that you take the time to pack them a lunch everyday - given the low quality of the food they serve kids for lunch today in public schools.
Dipping apples in juice is such a great hack! My kids never wanted apples if they were brown and didn’t like how sour lemon juice is. Finally they will eat apples at school!
Girl, everything looks Delicious! I try your lunchbox meals at home for myself and pack some for my husband to take to work! Thank You for Wonderful Ideas🌹🌹💕💕🧡💚💛
That pudding turning so watery, I never had that happen. I don't blame them for not eating anything but the sprinkles. These were so much fun to watch, festive for the season.🍂🎃
I love these videos. I will say, I have a child with a severe tree nut allergy that requires an epipen. Her school does not restrict anyone from bringng food items with nuts, It is highly possible for her to sit at a table after a child has eaten their lunch containing nuts in that same spot. I worry about it so much especially since children touch everything and often times lunch tables are not wiped off between classes. She's been with the same group of kids since kindergarten and the other kids try and look out for her.
You are right about those lunchable prices they have gone up a bunch in the last few years. 😊 I only get them periodically or when I need a quick snack for the kiddos.
Hi! New subbie! So excited that I found your channel. I love your channel. I don’t have young kiddos, but I’m going to use a few of these for my own lunch to take to work. These would be great for more of a snack style lunch for an adult which is something I love. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Kristin, u read my mind.. I'm always looking for school lunch ideas for my 9 year old special needs son.. I haven't even used his Bentgo that I bought this year.. and now I must visit the Halloween snack aisle at Walmart 😃
0:36 my son loves those cheese cubes lol. Love your country accent😊🥰🤠. Unfortunately my son is a super picky eater and does NOT eat meats or seafood so I definitely have to get creative lol. Love how real and honest you are about showing what is actually more realistic for most parents to pack for their kids. Especially when they can't microwave anything lol
Tyfs these ideas! I was wondering if u had heard about the recall for Capri Suns. Apparently, they had cleaning fluid in them. Idk how that even happens, but now I’m super nervous to trust them again. Just thought I’d mention it in case u weren’t aware. 😊
Man I wish our schools did free school lunches...most our elementary schools don't even have a cafeteria or canteen and most of our schools are peanut free too 😞
Great ideas as always, Kristen! I've been a subscriber for awhile, and I always love the different variety. I am curious though, between dinners, kids lunches, and Josh's lunch what you spend on food monthly? I would love any tips on how you budget in these difficult times!
Kids are finicky, and we adults can be too. All week last week my 2nd grader just wanted turkey pepperoni, cheese, thin wheats, and fruit. Sometimes carrots. I just let it be.
I have been making four loaves of bread into PB&J’s because those dang uncrustables are expensive. They freeze great, and I can put them in my daughters reusable lunch. Saves so much time in the morning! My daughter LOVES mini corn dogs for lunch, that’s about all she’ll take for me. She’s a great fruit eater too.
Your lunches are awesome! I wish I had your ideas years ago when I packed my child lunches. She also received free lunches, your chicken sliders looked amazing...must have been pizza day for school lunches lol
My are pretty bad at being picky eaters , I had purchased Pillsbury corndog wraps and my picky eaters eat them so much better than frozen corn dogs . Thank you for all lunch box meal ideas and all that you do for the channel.

I love watching your kid lunchbox videos to get ideas for my son. I'm going to have to try the mini corndogs! Question: I don't see veggies as part of their lunches. Are they really picky when it comes to veggies?
Hey Kristin! was wondering if your kids still get to take a snack to school for snack time and if they do, could you include what snacks you send with them sometimes?
