- Showcasing all the weapons from Days Gone PC version. Such a great game! cannot help to admire this game. The amount of detail is amazing in Days Gone. And the weapons look SUPERB for a 3rd person game. Definately 3D scanned weapons. The only con is the wrong RoF for many weapons. Too low. Hopefully there will be a Days Gone 2 sequel. Enjoy!

Yea the weapons in days gone were criminally underrated in how good they felt, aiming was off but the sound design/feel was maybe the best I’ve ever heard.
I can hear the echo in the clip which helps demonstrate how freaking loud gunshots are. My friends that don't go to gun ranges are always shocked by that thanks to Hollywood misleading them.
something I like about the Growler is that it’s how the original minigun from Predator was held, not like a chainsaw from Terminator 2

@@Anonymous-jj9yu just a bunch of modes you get scored on surviving hordes of infected for as long as possible, fighting human npcs, motorcycle races, go karting, etc
I'm surprised he didn't try flicking the P90, considering he managed to flick all the lmgs with zero effort

Probably because the P90 mags themselves are rare and not easy to replace.
The sounds are so good, so powerful, you actually feel like you are shooting a gun. My favourite is by far the MG45 which is actually an MG5

@@ethan0998 all yes,good variety of both human and less than human enemies,and wait till you see the games version of "bosses" (aka hords) it's a true masterpiece and even in late game you feel lime your being hunted,great progression
@@ethan0998 the game is super fun, even more than State of Decay games. And it has a huge world map too. But be warned, Days Gone will require you decent PC specs to play it smoothly
Yeah the MG45 here sounds like a bolter gun from w40k. You can really hear that heavy metal exiting the barrel.

It’s with a mod, it’s in the game files but not fully implemented, hence the janky reload, similar to the rocket launcher.

Love the guns in this game, I downloaded a mod that gives them the appropriate ballistics and rate of fire to their real counterparts and realistic looking suppressors. Makes using the us556 a lot more satisfying

Deacon was in the army before the apocalypse, but the way he handles some weapons here is absurd, such as with the .22 rifle having more kick than a .50 rifle. Also, some weapons have inaccurate rate of fire, such the PPSH firing slower than the real one. Reload animations are actually great, despite incorrect reloads on some weapons. Still, these are just some nitpicks I have as this game is 100% a total blast to play.

Indeed, fire .22LR, but kick like a normal rifle.
The damage for the .22 is also questionable.
Let's not forget the gigantic magazine sized for intermediate assault rifle calibers that holds 5 rounds.

My favorite: Auto Shotgun. High damage and spread. The snipers I prefer the C8. I also like the crossbow. It is very versatile and practical.

I've always had a personal gripe about miniguns. Just the name seems strange to me. I know that it's a smaller version of the tank-mounted Vulcan weapon, but I still don't consider such a weapon "mini." The Growler, however, does match that description, since it's small enough to be held like a rifle.

The growler is an Impossible design, and the p90 has downwards Shell ejection
There's a lot more wrong with the depictions of guns in the game but we'll let it pass since it's a zombie game
Just a heads up that the first pistol Deacon has is not an M9, not actually sure what it's supposed to be based off of, but it's weird that they went for this chunky, blocky looking pistol, as opposed to the M9 seen in the trailer, would've loved to have actually had an M9 in this game since it's my all time most fav handgun but unfortunately that didn't happen.
That growler is from challenge mode but damn hip mounted minigun much better but the reload isnt updated

I'd like the enemy NPCs have more variety of weapons, not just the same sawed-off shotgun of always, the same pistol as Deek, and the AK47
I'm not saying that everyone always, obviously it's not a good idea that you can get the best weapon in the game in a early random encounter, but something similar to the Anarchist camps, which have better weapons than the rest of the factions
That in the missions to raid camps, depending on the faction, they have more advanced weapons without being too op, especially the militia deserters

You can really feel the power in certain weapons, though...why in the world was that AK mag so short? I was kind of confused by that one. Aside from that, I enjoyed this! Nice stuff!

Unfortunately it doesn’t look like we’ll ever get a second Days Gone, there were plans for it but basically everything got scrapped and it never got beyond conceptualization so far.
No it didn't get scraped. They are supposed to be releasing it by the end of 2023-beginning of 2024. Ps4 only as that's what the game started on and will be released for PC by 2026

The only problem I have is the shell casings all look like they belong to a rifle including the smgs.
I really dislike the distance at which projectiles disappear(seems to be something around 20m for buckshot LMAO) and the fact that ALL magazined weapons have the same relad animation.I don't get why they went cheap on this part

I'm just a little concerned over dumping mags and speedloaders. In a zombie apocalypse I don't think it'd do you any good throwing them away when you can just purchase ammunition and reuse empty mags.
In this apocalypse (with no explanation for it) ammo is not scarce and very common actually

Ok, everything is great, mostly, but the number of shots to casings ejected really annoys me, look at how many shots the faster firing automatic weapons have to the amount of casings ejected. The easiest weapon to notice this with is the Growler.
