I can't believe that people rip on this new Panigale. I think it is the best looking modern iteration to date. I actually love that swing arm! Had they made it like your typical pedestrian swing arm people would have a point but this new swing arm looks amazing to me.....allegedly, it makes the bike better all the way around. The real debate is riding one on the street.....no bueno imho.
@@Fernando-t8g 999 completely dominated in 2003-2004 against full 1000cc fours. Also in 2006 with Bayliss as the fours were really improving (good TC was available by then, negating the biggest advantage of the twin off corners).
@@Fernando-t8g It's a huge difference. Ducati said they made the best single-sided swing arm and double-sided swing arm they could and tested them both, and all their testers were much faster on the double-sided swing arm and preferred the feel of it too. Just because Bautista had success on the v4r doesn't mean they should stop improving and chasing performance, especially when BMW is dominating now and stepping on their heels, and BMW looks far more stable and can rival it on the straights in Wsbk.
Personally I prefer this new look, sharper, more modern. The opposition will have their hands full when the v4r gets a dual sided swingarm in 2026, it's the final piece of the puzzle for racers, lighter, precise flex and more feel at lean....will help tyre life too - the big bang engine is already great at laying down the power, soon it will have no weak spots.....still can't afford one though !
Awesome ! What a day - lucky b@sket 😂👍👍 I really like the look of the bike, the new swingarm looks great - it’s not just a solid lump of alloy it’s got some Italian style to it !
That's the OEM swingarm.... The Superbike swingarm will be a hand built behemoth, I would bet without those giant holes in the sides too. Probably as beefy as their GP swingarm.
Maybe, maybe not. On the R it would not shock me to see one that looks very similar but can use insert pieces of various thicknesses or materials to tune the side-to-side flex depending on the track they are at.
it wont look like this at all !! I got the specs from Pierobon but I cant tell you that shit. They will get in huge trouble and I will too for leaking info. All I can say which is safe is that it will be billet aluminum not cheap cast aluminum like they used for this OEM swinger
@@USAracing That makes sense, I've been to Pierobon's facility in Italy before. Great little shop and so much history in that building. Just knowing my Aprilia swingarm from Aprilia Racing was a hand built behemoth for SBK, I'd imagine you are spot on for new V4 Ducati and theirs.
I wish they fixed the firing order to make it even. The lopey V4 ruins the engine characteristics for me compared to Aprilias even firing engine which is smoother and better sounding.
Considering that even the GP bikes use the twin-pulse arrangement I think we are stuck with it for the foreseeable future. The Priller or even R1 definitely sounds better.
I have both bikes and love them to death. They should be different. The twin pulse doesn't ruin anything for me, sounds absolutely gnarly with the Termignoni 4Uscite.
Quick Question since you've ridden the previous gen Panigale. Has ducati fixed or improved the heat that radiates to the rider's seat and legs. ?????? i know the motor is the same so the exhaust is still routed under the seat but i see more covering under the seat as well. Hoping they added significant thermal protection
So..... who's the fastest of the "journalist" if you will? You? Neevs, one of the guys from 44teeth? Come on, one of you clearly has the fastest lap times?? 🤔
WHY the hell do all of you on here all do videos about the topic shit at roughly the very same time???!! I am sick of this weird matrix I live in!! Give me the red pill Morpheus!! And the only one doing the best review about this bike or any bike is MCN as usual.
All the journos are invited to the same event, and given a media blackout order which gets lifted at a particular day/time. So, they all have their videos ready to go at the same time.

Well said bro, my sentiments exactly.
I can live with the swingarm as the 999 was the most sucessful race Ducati ever.
The current v4 has won wsbk twice now. As well as other championships.
Not really a huge difference.

Yup it is faster than Panigale V4 2022. But! Is it finally faster then Zack & Ari’s legendary old 2005 GSXR 1000? 😂

Yes much prefer the aprilia do I'm going to sell mine and buy a aprilia
And 95% of them will end up in garages & collectors hands.
Not actually true. If you live in OC you will see plenty of Panigale's around

Blaa blaa this and that, but is it faster than K5.
Best comment 😅
When you are poor, k5 is the best
Heated grips?
The 899 and 959 were the last to have standard swingarms..not the 999.
