We call them "Znood el Sit" in Arabic ,normally filled with cream but I like your way too I wish I can try them,a Greek deli had normal baklava and burma with chocolate filling that was different and at a supermarket I tried a normal baklava diamond cut covers in chocolate and that was nice and different too! It reminds me of cannoli
Savannah, If it were me I would maybe eat a little bit at a time and increase over a few months to build up a tollerance, then I could can pig out without a problem ! Maybe this will work for you !

Baklava is a Turkish dessert not Greek sorry but you are giving wrong infos and impression , you ,all , who dont know and wonder can search its root you ll see ..

Looks great. Can they be made the day before? Will they still be crunchy if they’re not refrigerated?
You can assemble them weeks before and store in the freezer. Bake them straight out of the freezer. They will be delicious!
