Yeah, the batteries are not disposable, cobalt is acquired by human slavery. We’ve lowered by 25% since 2005 but people still wam to push these death boxes. Also, takes 30,000 gallons of water to put out a ev battery that catches on fire and normal combustible engine is 500 gals. Charging your ev with coal powered grid just pulls more power from the grid making power more expensive and limiting for everyone else. Gas could be looked as static but it’s the best we have at the moment and electric is not the answer currently.
None of this is simple. For instance the poverty of the Congo has nothing to do with Cobalt or the electric revolution in general. The poverty is due to war, corruption and the unskilled financial minds of previous leaders.@@ryancornett7916
