- I've purchased bridge kits and structure kits for my HO Scale Model Railroad layout. Three of the bridges are Walther's kits, one bridge is from Micro Engineering and the automotive bridge is from Rix Products. All of my structures will be built from Walther's Cornerstone kits.

Thanks, Greg! A lot of our military modeling skills can cross over to model railroading. I have a lot of structures to build, but it's a hobby so it'll be enjoyable. I appreciate you watching, I have videos finished, uploaded and scheduled for each Saturday up to April 1 so far and I'm working on a new one now.

I think so. I've drawn up a bunch of different track plans over the past 5-6 years and I bought buildings for each track plan so I have more than I need. But it'll be nice to have options depending on what fits best.

that's for sure. I'll be building structures for years. I'd like to have the buildings illuminated so that'll add to the work. I'm dropping feeders now, maybe have something running in a week or so? One thing at a time.
The way all you guys buy and hord now days and build a full-blown layout in months, no wonder prices have gone out the roof.
Most of the stuff I have was purchased 5 or 6 years ago. I have bought a few things recently to finish what I have in work. My layout sat in various stages of benchwork construction for years and was always pushed to the back burner because of other priorities. Getting involved again after being away from the hobby for a few years, I was surprised that a DCC locomotive is $300+. But everything is expensive today regardless of what you're buying. Last December I felt I had to make a decision to build the layout or scrap it, so I'm trying to get some things done.
