@@NickCookOnTheNet if you want metal upgrades go for a WPL C34KM or C44km they come with a whole heap of metal upgrades as standard, itll work out cheaper than getting each metal upgrade individually. Both are build it yourself kits and you get a real sense of pride watching something you built take on the terrain. With that said the best upgrade for the mn99 is some wheel weights of sort to help with the toppling issue, 2nd best upgrade would be some aftermarket electronics. My most recent video has the c34km and mn99 side by side and the wpl really showed its true colours.
No waterproofing and no upgrades yet, it would be nice to have peace of mind if its going through water, i just took a chance! Can you repair the switch?
@@NickCookOnTheNet does well without it! I will probably leave the switch off as it's one less thing to go wrong, especially in mud and water. I've taped the wires together so it's permanently on.
Pure RTR!. Since this video I've made a mod to the shocks using a spring from a pen and that's it. I do have some new wheels and lights on the way though
It wasn't at the time of this video and the only mod I have done since is the spring mod in the rear shocks from a biro pen ua-cam.com/video/_L9vPfDi0SE/v-deo.html

Thank you kindly, still going strong now but a little more battered and scratched!
Awesomely captured 👏
Definitely a budget beast!
My mn99 is over a year old and still kicking ass!
I love it, thinking about some metal upgrades, only had it a month!

I'm gonna get it, but do you have to build it? Or, does it come with the whole thing built and you can use it right away?
Comes ready built, just need to pop in some batteries in the controller and that's it!
where did you buy this car and how much did you pay?
Banggood, the price can vary day to day though

@@NickCookOnTheNet i have mn90. Is it save for wet track? I just try to cover the electric and make my tires more weight with wheel balancing metal.
