He scouts 2 base arbiter, and his response is to take a quick 3rd right away, then complains he doesn't have enough turrets or if he can defend any better.... What?
Once he started raging from the first game and then took it into the second game, he was bound to lose, he was raging about game 1, IN GAME 2, he was not playing well and he deserves the loss unfortunately.
Uh, yes?? 2 base arbiter is a safe play. It basically comes down to the triangle of actions and counteractions. If they expand, you attack, if they attack, you defend, and if they defend you expand. 2BA would count as defending. With T units being more cost efficient, P doesn't (or does but shouldn't, depending on whom you ask) have enough to challenge a defending T off of just 2 bases if they've gone something as expensive as arbiter as well. Arty's logic sounds good to me. I really don't see what your objection is?
Artosis at the start of the match while scouting: "This guy is terrible and stupid, he is terribly stupid, only a dumb person would do this" Artosis after losing to dumb guy: "I cant believe this, it doesnt make any sense, what a stupid person, you are disgusting" Winning games is not dumb. It seems to me that he relies too much on existing strategies, so when someone comes around and does something unconventional, he just rage quits. Artosis cant adapt.
dude, I had Artosis in a pedestal as the most insightful and analytic SC2 caster of all times, after following Tasetosis on GSL casts. Seeing an adult almost crying to tears in a tantrum over being cheessed dented that image.
What Artosis expects from his opponents: Hmm, this guy is a well-known highly ranked player with more mmr than me, so he'd probably kick my ass in a standard game. Well, better walk to my doom. Any rational person: Fuck it, let's try something he wouldn't expect. It's our best chance.
Idra's quality of life improved greatly upon switching to another game from SC2. Became happier and content with life. I feel like Artosis should consider the same.

@@sursurrus I used to play back in WoL season 1. Was playing random because I liked all the races, and I had more wins as P, Z and T respectively (4gate was massively powerful back then). I was downright obsessed with the game back then, I didn't have any friends or a girlfriend so I was devoting myself entirely to that, watching replays and shit. I eventually got to platinum and I was sometimes winning against diamond players as well (keep in mind this was before master and grandmaster ranks were implemented). Now, I have always been a guy that was easily distracted, but that level of intense micromanagement eventually made me even more prone to distraction because I was focusing on a ton of different things all the time. That's great if you are playing a game, but IRL it might drive you into trying a ton of different things at once and failing because you need to focus on that task and that task alone. I somehow think that it might have altered my cognitive processes a bit. Then again, I'm no psychologist/doctor so take all of this with a copious amount of salt. EDIT: I think I did something like 1800 games in 18 months or so. Won something like 700-800 of them.

It's not weird at all, in the right context most people will feel the same.Problem's will only occur if you keep reinforcing the idea to your brain that seeing other people upset gives you an easy path to dopamine hits because then it will start taking measures to convince you to do more of it.. If terrain wanted to doom drop like that he'd have to spend a lot more money and supply to make it just as effective as recall.
@@curtisstephens4482 I mean, he has been playing the game for 20 years. At some point he should be able to beat toss, even assuming that toss is op. Otherwise, no terran pro could beat toss. Also, artosis just likes to complain. I've seen him complain about tanks in tvt, even though that's probably the unit he relies most on to win his own games
Edit: added the word "him"
He scouts 2 base arbiter, and his response is to take a quick 3rd right away, then complains he doesn't have enough turrets or if he can defend any better....
I really don't see what your objection is?
yea for the record, 2 base arbiter is a build to crush 2 bash ~ 4-5 fac pushes, so of course the correct play is to take a third
I love how the ape saves his 2 arbiters inside 1 billion turets after shiting in his base lmao
I thought he was gonna cry for a second...
I had no idea Artosis was this salty and toxic as a player.
Oh he's a lot more toxic than this. This was nothing.
Artosis at the start of the match while scouting: "This guy is terrible and stupid, he is terribly stupid, only a dumb person would do this"
Artosis after losing to dumb guy: "I cant believe this, it doesnt make any sense, what a stupid person, you are disgusting"
Winning games is not dumb.
It seems to me that he relies too much on existing strategies, so when someone comes around and does something unconventional, he just rage quits.
Artosis cant adapt.
The chat thrives off his misfortune makes for a fun stream 😂
dude, I had Artosis in a pedestal as the most insightful and analytic SC2 caster of all times, after following Tasetosis on GSL casts. Seeing an adult almost crying to tears in a tantrum over being cheessed dented that image.
Hope he never trades stocks, his heart would simply explode
Lol this is a quality comment
What Artosis expects from his opponents: Hmm, this guy is a well-known highly ranked player with more mmr than me, so he'd probably kick my ass in a standard game. Well, better walk to my doom.
Any rational person: Fuck it, let's try something he wouldn't expect. It's our best chance.
If it didn't always make him so mad people wouldn't do it as often.
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this channel. I have never to worrie again on missing salt content! Thank you, whoever you are!
Idra's quality of life improved greatly upon switching to another game from SC2. Became happier and content with life.
I feel like Artosis should consider the same.
I could write a book about this. Day9 too. I went to summer camp with Idra, when we were 12, is he actually happier now? I was kinda a shit to him, so I hope stuff works out.
Bruh, my SC2 days were fucking miserable. I think it actually made my life worse now that I look back.
@@gabrieleomaggio1461 anything in particular? ladder was pretty frustrating. Deleted the game 3 months ago and I notice things are a lot better
Next time I'll rage at a game hopefully I'll remember this and keep calm. This is funny but also enlightening.
LOOK HERE! LOOK! LISTEN! I CANT TAKE THIS SHIT NO MO MAN!
Imagine seeing the arbiter recall play coming and choosing to make a third expansion instead of a couple more Goliaths and missile turrets.
Mines
"it doesnt come down to planning, it comes down to execution."
'He countered you with his brain" hahah love Artosis chat
ROFL, that stasis field on that tank on the ramp after the recall was great. I understand being mad but how can he possibly say his opponent is bad.
i distingtly remember getting into wc3 many years ago. there was already an established meta at the time and i played a low ranked human vs night elf game. i simply macroed spellbreakers, priests, sorceresses and mortars out of a one base t2 and crushed him because he had no army. so he called me a noob and quit the match. like i suppose it is fine for calling me out on not understanding the meta and not knowing what risks i may have taken to get to this victory.. but all he had to do was NOT assume i was playing what EVERYONE else is and scout me. instead he blindly followed a scenario that he took for granted. and not meaning to belittle anyones efforts to perfect the execution of meta strategy.. but if THAT is skill you are a trained monkey.
This old as man is almost crying about losing a game. Damn and he is a Pops.
"I can't believe he is just making marines and walking them in the middle of the map..." says the guy that just did that :')
experience and practice can only take you so far, when your skill is basically at zero.
im so happy im going to see him cast the finals in 4 days XD
LOOK HERE! LOOK! LISTEN!!!!
Navi?
Artosis sure finds a lot of talented players.
Well, it's kinda obivous that the first guy (B terran) had no chance against him playing standard game. Of course he'd try something unusual
Ya, for someone that calls everyone stupid, it is very stupid not to use a safe build against that kind of player.
@@lucianocortes8636 it's funny how he says he gets cheesed every game but wouldn't you win every game if you just assume cheese then?
@@AlexanderMartinez-kd7cz if you over defend cheese, and your opponent is not going cheese you will lose because you are too far behind
@@Redtornado6 yeah but artosis seems to think he gets cheesed every game
@@lucianocortes8636 He goes safe builds pretty much every game, but depending on the cheese sometimes even a safe macro build isn't completely safe.
It is beautiful. I have been looking at this for 5 hours.
Such a legendary rage.. that chat laughing at him made me piss myself 😂
Next Avilo he is
elite video content in youtube, i can't get enough
8:03 racism on
LOL
Is it weird that seeing someone that angry makes my day better ?
It's not weird at all, in the right context most people will feel the same.Problem's will only occur if you keep reinforcing the idea to your brain that seeing other people upset gives you an easy path to dopamine hits because then it will start taking measures to convince you to do more of it.. Just take a look at communities like wings of redemptions if you wanna see what you'll turn out like
@@jacobbatchelor7877 I think part of that is that I realize that we get angry because of stupid shit like that. He lost a computer game and almost ready to jump out of window
Does he expect the protoss to walk into his tank line / spider mines? Artosisis a joke
Man, I found a new source of salty tears and IRL rage quits for sustenance. Grumpy cat Artosis has more salt than the Dead Sea.
On the bright side, I found genuine Saltosis. Knew he's forcing it on the other later clips lol
Imagine you are the president and you are in the war room with your generals , Artosis being one of them and this is how the battle is explained to you HAHAHA
Man, this is sad. I sometimes can almost agree with his paper thin arguments he makes about "bad" players poisoning the player base normalizing random play and cheesy strats which ruin ladder seasons, for him I guess, but then he literally has tantrums on Twitch exposing his inability to handle a loss but also in the moment seems to be unable to pilot around such "bad" strats and play to a win.
Edit: But, then again, like he says in a handful of streams, this is his job on the normal. He's streaming Starcraft content. I mean, what's more enjoyable than the raw chess like nature of the RTS? Artosis losing his god damn mind on camera in and out of the game. It's just perfect Schadenfreude bait for the masses and I'm sure he knows it on some level. It's making him more money little by little so, I guess there's a silver lining here despite the aneurysm or heart attack he might suffer someday.
@Oliver Hancock I wish. No where, South Dakota.
It is super frustrating when you think you really start to understand something and then you get thrown a curve ball. I don’t watch Artosis enough to know if his rage is 100% genuine, but that sounded real enough.
@@FamSisher : If his rage is fake, he's an amazing actor.
@@taragnor oh it’s certainly not fake, but he definitely plays it up sometimes.
I found his rage this time fake. Its just so ridiculously over the top and unreasonable. And i feel like in this vid hes consciously being careful and specific with his phrases and wording, to be funny/classic
This is not anger. He is agonizing.
If Napoleon complained like Artosis, he would have been forgotten. Instead he adapted and overcame
love artosis angry :D
LMFAO DUDE this is the content i use the internet for... this is GOLD im literally dying right now lmoaooo
Baby crying in the background, this is just sad. Even though i laughed.
Not sure they're crying because he was like that, probably just woke up. He's a good dad. :(
I am pretty sure he is fine dad. But Flash of course is a better one ^_^
@@Bashka91 Flash's kid wouldn't be crying
@@boneflesh i think the "role model" he sets for his children, is that he had a dream and a passion for starcraft and he chased that dream to a foreign country where he didnt know the language and didnt know anyone. And now hes basically part of the dynamic duo of Starcraft.. actually no not even Starcraft of ESPORTS Casting. He and Tasteless are basically the Michael Jordan and Lebron James of Esports Casting and they struggled and lived poor in a foreign country and busted their asses to get to where they are. Does he get angry and upset at the game? Sure. But him expressing his obvious extreme passion for the thing he has devoted his entire life to.. does not make him a bad father.. Terrible thing to say about someone.
He's married, you know? Kids cry all the time. Doesn't mean his kid is being neglected. Don't be an idiot. Besides, it's obvious Artosis is at least partly playing this up for the audience (look at his titles and thumbnails). If my dad made streams this funny I'd just laugh.
Artosis and the Angry Video Game Nerds guy should play this thing together hahaha
in korea.. playing protoss is called "fork"-ing.. as in they cant use chopsticks so they have to use forks. protoss is also known as the race to pick if u have no talent at gaming. it is the easiest race by far to rank up to A. it gets harder at A but it's only because its so easy to rank to A that the players never really get better and they have to face the terran and zerg players who've actually worked hard to get there. this is the popular opinion of most pro gamers including stork who is like the representative of players who argue that protoss is weak at the pro gamer tier.
Moral of the story: get gud
dunno what's so hard to understand about how he did a risky build and got punished. he has such a hard coded mentality.
Thats the reason, why i play since 10 years no more PvP. Its not good for my hearth ^^
"Wtf was that?!!" That was you underestimating a lower ranked player starcraft is what 20-30 years old at this point and ppl still haven't learned this lesson?
He looks like the angry Halo kid but in his 50s
Interesting Artosis complains about his opponent doing something abnormal or bad in his opinion, but if you then I think you can take it as a learning opportunity rather than complain so hard about it. It seems different than how Artosis talks during casting, that players have to adapt & be aware and be rational.
i listen to this video before i go to sleep.
Lol "fly right out. Nothing ever happened"
Imagine being a child of a dude who tells everyone he loses to that they are bad...
I remember breaking a desk back in what, 2004? This game is great fun 🤣
I normally root against streamers and like to see them lose, but Arty is one of the few I root for to win. He puts so much hard work into the game that i just feel bad seeing him lose
This is some of the best rage asmr on UA-cam.
The purest salt ever crafted is made here
I have never touched Starcraft in my life but this is beyond entertaining
5:08 "that rage broke me out of stasis" LMFAO i'm WHEEZING
This is how we all feel when we lose for the next ten minutes.
that first game was the equivalent to randomly putting down a mini-sentry in a random ass corner in TF2
Artosis: Makes a bunch of marines and moves out on the map with them
Artosis 30 sec later: "I can't believe he would just make marines and move out with them, he's so stupid"
This channel is so freaking good
I have no idea what is going on but he is mad as hell
