This is actually confirmed to be true by one of Teresa’s friends named Kim G ! A friend of the family that took the girls around while Teresa was in prison. Kim G shared with Teresa that her mom (Teresas mom) told Kim G (a friend that isn’t on the show) that Joe Gorga (Teresa brother) wanted to be exactly like his sister he wanted a table flipping moment because he wanted a moment like that for him because of how jealous he was of her sudden fame. Teresa Mom never told Teresa for fear that it would drive the family further apart. Teresa found out through Kim G years later and Teresa also finds out her mom watched the show every episode ever until the day she passed away. So Teresa’s mom saw how bad it was and how it had gotten. Teresa never watched the show to keep the peace in the family for both her parents. Joe and Melissa however did not care they are very ghetto Jersey and IT SHOWS. And his parents were very proud of his sister and he couldn’t stand that. That’s why him and Melissa did what they did.

This first scene of Joey and Melissa is ALL the proof that they came on the show not only behind Teresa’s back, but also to hurt her and their entire family. They sold their family out for money and fame. Teresa was simply congratulating them - if they had any class at all, any love and respect for family they would have simply said thank you and carried in. Joe Gorga has issues and Melissa is manipulating.
Joe gorga really does have issues… I had forgotten the scene where he is screaming at his dad and crying. I mean it happens sometimes but why do it on national tv… seems suspicious that he was indeed trying to make a big entry onto the show. I think it's possible there is way more to the Gorga family dynamic than it appeared on TV. Elderly parents who become fragile with age can be manipulated and swayed. Also, favoritism exists in some families. I'm not saying that is the case here, but I've seen these things exist so you never know. RIP to the Senior Gorga's, Theresa and Joe's parents.

Also this scene pretty much sums up this family’s problems. It’s fairly obvious that Tre’s parents were not that fond of Melissa. They liked Joe Giudice more, and that irked Josephine. I do think that Joe Giudice was “putting things in their heads” about Josephine like he said, but to me it sounds like Joe giudice was telling their parents the truth about their son. It’s obvious from later scenes that Josephine wasn’t around that much 🤷🏻♂️ Tre was their main caregiver
The parents were mad at Joe Gorga because he worked a lot and also didn't spend a lot of time around them because they didn't like his wife. They preferred Joe Giudice and Teresa because they had all the time in the world simply living off dirty $. Also Teresa manipulated the hell out of her parents. It was even obvious that they preferred Teresa's kids over Joe's. Honestly if my parents did that shi* to me I wouldn't be around them and I especially wouldn't want my kids around them.

But nothing that Melissa ever said was conducive to them mending their relationship. I listen to her now, and I’m like you’re not saying anything that helps, just talking bad about Melissa.

I think everyone's wrong. There was so much finger pointing and blame and no ownership of anything on both sides. They both took every single move as a slight and held on to it forever. They would need intensive therapy for a lot of years to ever fix this. Sometimes its better to cut it off than keep hurting each other. I wish them all well, but separately
I agree. Everyone on all sides all around rhey are all these moving pieces. Each with their own issue, upset and agenda. Even if Teresa & Joe make peace or heal, you still have so much of other people and their issues their pieces moving against them. Joe & Teresa have to be extremely strong & united, they don't unite against others, the way they do for their spouses & their spouses do for them. They also need to actually accept Jesus instead of wearing crosses falsely, why because if they were truly in their faith as they use for fashion, all of them if they have that faith know what we are called to do even for our enemies. What's sad is they are so already well blessed with beautiful, thriving, healthy strong children, roof over their heads, food in their stomachs, yet they want to keep throwing and growing in hate. All of them, not just Teresa. God will bless & multiply the devil will shout and divide. Just in my opinion. It's sad.
I wish them all well also. Like you mentioned but separately. I hope truly, they do come back united again as a loving extended family. There will be marriages, more baptisms, more celebrations all these things that I hate to see them each miss out on because the brother & sister can't heal. I hope they all do find healing.

The saddest part about this is Gia trying to pull Terea away, like my mum and aunties have a similar dynamic to Teresa & Joe, except nobody talks now. The children end up involved and lose years of treasurable memories with their cousins. In the year 2023 we’re still watching the same Gorga/Giudice drama and now the kids are involved. Maybe it is time to call it a day.
I’ve always wondered about that, Gia was so quick to try and pull her mom away. She must’ve seen and heard so much hatred between the two couples. Scott was pretty smart to move slowly while cautiously following his wife’s advice to pull Gia away because Teresa is a Mama Bear and she would’ve torn his arm off if he laid one finger on her daughter.🐻⛲️🍅
@@hadleyfields8741 Gia has always seemed so mature and I think she tries to be a problem solver. Bless her heart when she was crying. I think she grew up quicker because she wanted to step in for Terea while she was away. Her relationship with her family is so sweet.
Teresa always treated Gia like a friend and involved her in all the family drama. Gia was very sweet as a little girl but now she acts exactly like her mom unfortunately.
God help me. That fight, and hearing the Dad and Joe speak Italian when they were angry...made me want an Italian man LOL. Just to be yelled at in Italian! LOL
