I think their earlier live shit was way heavier and more unique than this. This was one of those songs that got on MTV for some short period of time, but not even close to their best song. It was a commercial song, but I think it's probably their weakest track.
I saw the Lunachicks perform a bunch of times. At CBGB, the Continental, maybe Webster Hall? Drank a beer or two with them at the bar. Cool people. Great, big sound! Rock on!

I'm so happy I was coerced into seeing Lunachicks a few years ago at Webster Hall because I was so low on the juice I get when seeing punk bands live. Around the same year I was going to be dragged to a show with The Distillers by a friend which I didn't want because The Distillers are a total yawn fest performing live...even when performing their most upbeat songs (Brody Dalle is a fucking mess I tell you). Lunachicks however delivered SO HARD AND SO GOOD!
Helen Destroy was the Lunachicks' top drummer. She gave the songs a very complex sound that none of the other drummers managed to do. Too bad she was only there for such a short time.
Lunachicks. Not only the best band name ever but one of the most entertaining live girl groups ever. Underrated songwriters too.
