Kitchen light did indeed work for the colours, thanks for thinking of it, especially for that lovely big white one with the unusual yellow on the lip - not seen that before!
It's one of those 'eco' bulbs that has to warm up before it gives off it's full light so I have to remember to turn it on 5 mins before starting.
Nice look around and still some good blooms.
Thanks.
Beautiful windowsill Orchids! 💓
Thanks.
Lovely blooms.
Thanks.
Great blooms
Thanks.
Nice blooms.
Thanks.
Hi, Roger! Lovely to see those blooms, thank you!
The garden is looking very nice. I need to visit your other channel!
I will be doing a 'look around' on the other channel soon.
Enjoy your last years Christmas present, I use to many years ago enjoy archery, in fact it's how my parents met back in the late 40s and married, and we kind of took up archery too.
It's a great value course - £70 for two days and use of the equipment plus the coaching - 4 hours each day.
Delightful
Thanks.
Hey Roger, Hannah's Phalaenopsis is definetly Phal. Venus (equestris x lindenii). The leaf pattern is clearly lindenii genes.
Venus has a much darker lip.
15:14 Congratulations on having the Hibiki bloom again. I think you were worried for a while.
16:17 First time for me to see a Zygo with such a nice combination of colors. I'm mostly familiar with the green and purple ones.
I think it's an intergeneric - Zygopetalum crossed with a Zygonisia?
Thanks for the tour! Always enjoyable.
You're welcome.
Glad to see some blooms and spikes - I don't have anything on this moment. Take care of youself, we are no 20 anymore 😀
If I didn't have the 8 mini-Phals, it wouldn't leave a lot.
Maybe schillirena (sp?) - the mottled leaved phal.
Blooms are larger and the leaves are more banded rather than mottled.
I think Brads Greenhouse isn't running any longer, he switched to carnivorous plants after a while. Haven't had a notification in years
I think his last video was like 2 years ago, i still lived in my other house.
I saw some vids after he moved house but not much after that.
@@hildewilkens3772 Yep two years ago
@@GrowingOrchidswithRoger Really strange, happens to more channels, Orchid dude suddenly disappeared so did Zane and many others over the years
Maybe look into lindenii or celebensis for the phal in the start of the video, Hannah's orchid
Blooms are different.
Roger, the mystery “equestris-like”/mottling of leaves Phal. I wonder if maybe it’s a Phal. Veitchiana?? Mine is small but has subtle mottling and blooms like that.
Please no more dashing!!
I Enjoy all your videos! Thanks for all you do.
Jennifer
You're welcome.
You may want to check if the Disas can take sulfur fumes !
Too late - already done. (Didn't think of that)

I have a store bought phal that made a terminal keikie after blooming, it's still growing so I'm expecting it to flower again. Maybe yours will do the same after it's done with flowers
It normally means the plant can't grow any more leaves from the crown so it produces a basal growth instead.
@@GrowingOrchidswithRoger I think mine is growing three at the moment
Great video Roger. Love seeing the blooms. Quick question if I may, I've had two store bought Phals and 4 of the Burnhams mini Phals for a while but looking to try something different. I'm a beginner so what would you suggest would the next best forgiving orchid?
A 'nobile' type Dendrobium - they need different care with the seasons but the modern hybrids are quite forgiving.
@@GrowingOrchidswithRoger Thank you!
