Both of these trucks are incredibly expensive, but if you can aford either on of them, espically if you can option them up, they would be worth the money in my opinion.
I have one on order the F250 platinum, with diesel engine. Just thought I would voice reason for purchasing this unit. It is not a work truck although I intend later to tow a 5th wheel horse trailer or RV. I am moving from an Escalade to the F250 I am tired of not having enough room to move stuff from place to place. As far as I can see this truck has all the luxury items I need comparable to the escalade.
I really like the grille on the new Super Duty's. This inspires me to restore my 2000 F350 diesel. I know that sounds strange, but the $60K price tag on these new trucks makes fixing up what you have more economically sound. I dunno! If I am gonna drop that sort of coin on a vehicle it's not gonna say Ford on it...LOL!
Nice informational video. I have to admit I'm not too keen with the name badging on the bed of those trucks. Other than that I like the 150 Limited. The Platinum however also needs to lose that back rear chrome applicay on the bed door. Its true it makes it stand out from the other models but IMO looks terrible.
I just wish Ford would still make RHD versions of their whole F-truck range (as they used to) & send them to Australia. They are extremely sought after if you can get your hands on one of the last imports. Alternatively, the only other way is to resort to a "specialist imported" who will convert them to RHD.....but they cost a "Mint"!!!!
People say about GMC with its Denali line.... yea now seems Ford is catching onto it. Look like nice updates but can't wait to see the next gen GM trucks roll out soon.
ALSO....I am in Canada, and those are the two engines offered here, I checked the US site, and yes, you guys only get the one engine choice. Its because all the pollution down there needs to be cut back ;P
then tell me this, when I go on the Ford website, and look at the specs of the 2013 Ford F-150 Limited, it shows me the options if the 3.5L V6 Ecoboost engine, or the 6.2L V8 Engine, so that means what? Your saying Ford misprinted their website??? Personally I would choose the 3.5L because it has almost the same power as the V8.
First thing I would do is remove the Limited or Platinum badging from the side. Looks tacky. Why didn't they go with the Titanium branding like they do for their cars? Seems confusing.
serously?!?!?! That is why you buy the other models. Like he said, this is a trim OPTION! If you want to abuse your truck, get a lower trim level....derp
Beautiful trucks.. Thanks!
AMAZING TRUCKS!!
I agree. Also, they both need LED taillights too.
Looks good wish i could afford one...did u see those 2013 GMC Acadias?
I want one
I wish ford would go the other way and sell gutted fleet models with roll up windows and rhino lined floors.
the good thing about this is that the new model is just around the corner
Texas State Fair?
It hard to choose between Dodges and Ford, both are looking pretty good these days . Dodge has more power though to pull my LQ trailer. Hard choice
Would personally rather have the F-250 King Rancher

I see all of the gmc acadias on that truck trailer in the video.
f 350 has a console shift still? sweet i personally like the console shifters rather than the floor
Both Cheaper and more fuel efficient than the cadillac escalade ext, but are "under the radar" luxury vehicles
So you are buying would have been a Lincoln Mark LT?

The F250 Platinum is awesome. I'm definitely getting one if I don't get into graduate school. Bottom line that truck will turn heads.
Denali HD?

I just checked the Ford site....and you can get the 6.2L V8 for this truck also, the ecoboost is NOT the only engine avaliable for this truck...

You will never see this one off road.

True! First thing i would do is not buy it. Trucks are for work
People say about GMC with its Denali line.... yea now seems Ford is catching onto it. Look like nice updates but can't wait to see the next gen GM trucks roll out soon.
There already is a Ram Limited.
GMC's Sierra Denali 1500 and HD competes with these, so there is competition out there...
ALSO....I am in Canada, and those are the two engines offered here, I checked the US site, and yes, you guys only get the one engine choice. Its because all the pollution down there needs to be cut back ;P
People buying these cars dont care about mpg or how much gas u can fit in the truck its about luxury and thats it pretty much
$60,000
only the rich people have that truck
I swear I see more ford platinums and limited f150's than any other truck on the road. Ident understand it

hope the 2013 raptor doesnt look as cheap as these
im laughing at those tiny bumpers
As a non-truck owner. I don't see the point. I thought a "truck" was designed to be used, dented and abused. Not something u have to maintain so much.

2013 ram better interior all around
Yea, those names and badges are hideous. Like it tries to scream look at me, it is platinum. They need to try harder to show it is a high trim.
the RAM Laramie 2013 looks better
just to say something, I do my research before I spout off my mouth :)
There's this new thing called Google. Maybe you should google why that is.
just get a ram
i love the super duty, but that super duty's tailgate is tacky.
serously?!?!?! That is why you buy the other models. Like he said, this is a trim OPTION! If you want to abuse your truck, get a lower trim level....derp
Ford is boss and now there going to show it not in the best way they know how but still
I'd rather get a more reliable Toyota pickup for A LOT less money...
Won't both of these compete with GMC Sierra Denali and Denali HD??? Ford's not the first entry into luxury trucks...
if you can afford this truck you can afford aftermarket HIDs... just sayin..
Still more plastic than there should be.
Ram is slowly taking over. I heard the 6.2 L for fords a complete train wreck. Worst engine they have ever made
Not worth it.
lame
holy shit that Super Duty is one ugly truck. Might as well paint "NO TASTE" across the doors. In chrome, of course.
Lame
