Great car. One could easily mistake it for a Tiger and take 99 or the Chief along for a ride. I'd keep an eye out for Siegfried, though. Looking at the brake master cylinder, i'd say this is no newer than a '66.
It was great that the Alpine and Tiger shared almost exactly the same styling! The TV show did so much for recognition of Sunbeam products. There were so many imports flooding America at the time! Thanks! :) Jack
Hey, Jason! I've never ridden in either the Alpine or the Tiger! Great looking cars, and with the, you had your choice of performance level! Thanks! :) Jack
I really like Alpines. Of course there was a time (and still might be) where they were considered ‘soft’ compared to an MG, Austin-Healey or Triumph TR, and when the Rootes Group went parts-bin raiding to make it they used a van platform, the Hillman Husky, which was the van version of the Minx, because the Husky had a shorter wheelbase than the Minx which suited a two-seater. However they appeal to me because of their relative rarity.
First time hearing and seeing this car! Looks awesome! 😁
Hey, guys! One of the nicest imported convertibles in my opinion! And it served as a basis for the famous Tiger! Thanks! :) Jack
Very nice! No side markers, so I am going to say pre 1968.
Hey, Daniel! Great point! Neat to see one here! Thanks! :) Jack
cool❤❤
Hey, Michael! I was glad to see one...most of the attention has been spent on the Tiger! Thanks! :) Jack
THIS IS A SEXY VEHICLE 😌... 🤩
Hey, Dee! It sure it....I'm glad to see it at the show, it needs to be in the spotlight. The Tiger is great, this one is too! Thanks! :) Jack

Hey Jack. Beautiful car! I've never ridden in one, but I've seen quite a few in my lifetime. 🙂

Hey, Mick! Very interesting to know how this car was derived! Never thought it was based on a Hillman Husky platform! Thanks! :) Jack
What type of engine does this car have
This series had the 1.7 liter four cylinder ohv engine. Thanks! :) Jack
