    I installed this optic on a crossman 760 air rifle.I have now shot the riffle around 500 times during target/plinking practice, and the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope has done well.With this optic, I have neutralized around 30 pigeons that were invading one of my buildings.For my short range air rifle, I will continue to use this scope, but will be upgrading to a more powerful scope, when I buy a more powerful air rifle, in order to shoot at longer distance.For the money I have spent, this scope has truly been a great buy.

    I absolutely love this Scope/rangefinder combo it took me five minutes to SIGHT in my rifle and I have not missed the shot ever cents I think my rifle range finder to my phone. I’ve taken shots over 700 yards on 10 inch steel plates and Still have not had one miss. It makes an average shooter incredibly accurate shooter

      I swear on a stack of Bibles. If you have Rifle cited in properly... You are NOT missing the target.
      The optical has an adjustable sensitivity anti-can’t level built into the reticle. It has different degrees of anti-can’t bills into it. .5°, 1° and an automatic setting. I keep it on .5.
      You do not have to remove your idea from target or the scope to look at a lot a Global level. However it does help to have your own chronograph so you can input exact average velocity of that projectile from your rifle. And the number on the box He’s almost never The same as the number I have a fly shot group from your current address. The nurse important thing is to make sure that you were zero is a cold bore zero.
      Take your first shot and use that number to input into your BDX app.

    I just purchased my Sig Sauer BDX 2.0 system a few weeks ago. I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet but I can't wait.
    I was a sniper in my early life in the military but since then have suffered multiple concussions and now have an intractable migraine as a result. My eyes have floaters and had a detached retina from boxing.
    I'm looking forward to the BDX system to help me relive my glory days and return to making long distance rifle shots on targets.
    Thank you Sig Sauer for creating the BDX 2.0 system! You have geniuses in your corner with the BDX system on your rifle!

    So many uninformed comments here. First off this is no different than learning to land nav with a compass and using a GPS, you should always know how to use the compass and map just in case your batteries die or other malfunction. Same here, learn how to shoot with just the crosshairs and use the tech when it's available. Battery life on this scope is 20,000hrs, that's 833 days of constant on! Not sure how you will ever run out of battery if you are paying attention, oh, and crazy idea....bring a couple extra batteries in your kit just in case of the apocalypse and you need to stay in the field for the next few years!

      Add solar panels to charge it all. Haha. But this is still a nice adnavced scope! Less than 2% of vehicle sold our manual speed versus automatic. In 10-15 years it will be 50% of the cars don’t have a steering wheel.

    The rangefinder is really pretty good, can't say how well it does with the paired scopes since I don't have one.
    I'd like to use the app, but the permissions are incredibly pervasive. Why does my rangefinding app need access to my phone, mic, wifi, contacts, location and internet? Feels really insecure to me.

Too bad they don't come up with one with the rangefinder in the side just like the Burris eliminator but with this setup you have unlimited range which is nice. Some of the digital scopes are already doing that, but the reliability and performance are yet to be proven.
      It will be very difficult on an RMR though. The viewfinder window is too small, and putting HUD projection on it will just crowd the visual field and obstruct the sight picture, not to mention it will be hard to read tiny texts on a RMR window.

Then the app repeatedly started updating firmware on the kilo then stuck on 1% forcing an app manual shutdown. Hundreds of $.....not going well. Regretting. It's fiddly. Not fun. Also, the glass isn't even close to many others. No thanks.

      The rangefinder and scope link to each other directly once they've been paired, and they can be paired either directly or through the app. The app is only necessary to input custom load data, which gets saved onto the optics.

      I disagree. A scope such as the BDX allows you to effectively range your target and not miss....As opposed to missing, wounding an animal, shooting too far without precision. If you feel that hunting requires you to stalk closer then just do it. The BDX allows you to be accurate from short or long range. I own one and it's an excellent system.

    • @SepticFuddy
      @SepticFuddy 9 місяців тому

      So is rangefinding and then calculating your holdover cheating too? Is a custom BDC for your cartridge cheating? The only difference is this is faster and/or more precise.
      Is it always cheating if you aren't just guessing distance and adjustment? Isn't glass cheating anyway? What about magnum cartridges and expanding ammo? Aren't those cheating too? Shouldn't we all be using a .22LR with v-notch irons and perfect shot placement? What about scent bait, calls and camouflage? How many game animals need to suffer for the sake of people not "cheating"?
      To me, this is a pretty good solution to something like .458 SOCOM where you might be shooting 250gr 2000fps and 600gr subsonic ammo out of the same rifle. Input your load data, select which ammo you're shooting, set up either your desired BDC marks or use the rangefinder.

  • @cowdy293
    @cowdy293 Рік тому

    honestly, if im understanding how this works, have to use the rangefinder itself inorder to range anything into the actual scope itself? If so, this is complete garbage! Like Burris rangefinder scopes and other companies, they put the rangefinder actually IN THE SCOPES at a push of a button . Common sense and convenience surpasses any funky design that not very good mouse trap. sorry, but go back to drawling board!

    • @luckymanham302
      @luckymanham302 Рік тому +1

      No, that’s not accurate. Once you input your bullet data, it gives you holdover points that you can set to your liking. You don’t need the rangefinder.
