Melissa, can you please explain a little more on how you get the border or card to cut out in this video> Do you choose the print and cut template from the project wizard first or was it the card template? I cannot get my card to cut out just the border. Please advise. Thanks. Tracey
I wish I'd known before I bought it that I'd have to swap pen and blade on my projects. For those that cut a lot of leather, balsa and fabric it might be worth it, though. I'm just not one of those.
Hey there! The card part was made with rectangles. I am using the action by color tool to switch between the two. Check out this blog post: www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/2020/09/how-to-sketch-and-cut-silhouette-cameo-4.html
@@SilhouetteSchool Thank you. Misunderstood, I thought it was like a built in template someplace, like new projects buttons or something like that. Shows how new to this I am. LOL
Loved this tutorial, thank you! What type of cutting mat are you using; it doesn't look sticky and I was trying to figure out how to cut cardstock without having the paper peel in half.
How do I make sure to not get extra lines from my pen when my silhouette is sketching? I tried making the force less and the speed less and that didn’t help either.
Hi nice video I have a silhoutte cameo 2 and when I first bought it when I was trying to cut a print n cut it started cutting all over my image do u know why this would happen haven't used it since thank u
Definitely make sure you have appropriate lighting! Check out this troubleshooting video for print and cut: ua-cam.com/video/6rkONiJhmts/v-deo.html we use the Cameo 4 but the tips are similar.
I love my drawing feature of my cricut and just purchased a cameo 4. What is this pen adapter you are using? Is is a silhouette product or someone else? Thank you
I am addressing wedding invitations but my pen is making marks when going from one word to another. I am using a force of 1 and speed of 5. Do you have any suggestions to get this to stop?

didnt know cameo 3 is a much convenient tool for this. that 2nd carriage is mostly useless and only for display in cameo 4
Yes it's more challenging to do a sketch and cut with the CAMEO 3. The CAMEO 4's right carriage is for the speciality tools
Can you tell me under what tab that card set up is please as it would be most beneficial for me. Thank you.

I think it is a well loved silhouette mat that she used painters tape to stick the paper too. I agree the silhouette mats are way too sticky.

Hi there! Take a look at this blog post: www.silhouetteschoolblog.com/2020/03/silhouette-sketch-pens-leaving-lines-4.html. It's going to help a ton!
My design is getting drag marks. Help!
I must be dumm....Why did I not think to just do an extra line outside of my designs to loose the BLOB😁
Thanks a lot
Brill, thanks
Brilliant solution to a very annoying feature. Thanks Melissa
These are great but I hate when they allow comments on tutorials but don’t answer questions.
