Wish we had that here, im old 32 I built one a few years back. It's a 50cc 2 stroke with the bore kit,carb upgrade,pipe mine wasn't a goped but similar type scooter just bigger tires. I still cruise mine in the summer I have a seat on mine to. It does around 35 on a cool night, high 20s in the summer heat. Its alot of fun, I get tons of thumbs up, offers to sell it almost every time I take it out. You don't gotta be a kid to enjoy flying past traffic on a scooter. Also with the new scooter laws I'm able to drive mine in the bike lane while passing cars it's alot of fun. Anytime someone laughs and you hit the throttle to show them u ain't rolling around at 5mph they usually shut up. I've also drove mine in city traffic and keep up just fine. But I've also got lights on mine
Absolutely, that what Scooter are about. We are allowed to ride them on the roads here as well which is a blast!

Well that is an interesting thought because GoPeds and 1/5 Scale RC Car use the same engine. We are a motorsports Channel and have a lot more GoPed content coming. GoPed rides, my DSI Y Frame and GSR Sport Build and smore so....Stay Tuned!
Racing these go ped back in 1996 at the boat drags on downtime. It was fun. Have mine running today 25 years old.

@@NorCalMiniMoto I was in the pit crews on both boats. Brother and uncle. STV drag with 2.5 merc drag outboard. and a 74 Hondo flat carbureted big block Chevy. It was fun 🤙🏼
Then scootin thing looks crazy lol .. just left the backyard tire so the power bands can kick in..and also an ,.675 spindle to a ,725 is what that sport should be on..
They are definitely a blast!

Are you discussing a Predator 212? If so I don't think you will be scooting past any of these!
@@NorCalMiniMoto Did you wanna bet? Lmao. Mine is only pushing 9.5hp with 13lbs of TQ and lifts the front wheel up at 30-35mph. Its geared for only just over 40mph though. Probably 42mph max at 3600rpms. Still has governor. I can zero to top in like 6 seconds. Im going to stage 2 it soon. 15hp/15lbs of TQ with longer gearing for about 55mph which is good enough for me. 7k rpms.
Now you tell me, am i not going to beat them? 😂😂😂 None of those peds are touching the TQ i have. It rips out the dig and takes off. I have to lean hard over the bars to keep it down lol.

@@rocknrye9273 These Peds are going over 55 MPH. It's all about power to weight ratio my friend and these two strokes will be a Stage 2 212cc Predator all day long.

Your stage 2 Predator is slow until you get it up into the 80-100MPH range now your pushing that engine platform.

They all have too high of gearing…they are trying to push past that by jumping up and down? I’ve been out of this game for many years…gotta grow up eventually…but I’m pretty sure the scooter I had built by maddog in Florida will beat all these scooters unless we do a mile to let that high gearing come into play…

Dont matter the age to be into any hobby like the scooter scene. I build peds and I'm grown. If you have the money and enjoy building them then why not.
