Well that is the most unlikely spot to fall on, it’s really a gamble you want to get it with houses as soon as possible if you want a gamble. You can get a card to go there directly tho, so it is good.

Great tips!! My family added our own rules which makes it more rewarding. 1. If you land on 'Go' you get 400 2. If you go to jail 4 times, you are out 3. You don't need to buy houses evenly 4. We bought more houses separately so there is always enough houses 5. If you land on free parking you get the money that goes in the middle from fees and tax
My family and friends only do the 5th thing you do. Idk why but we add income tax money and other stuff from chance and community chest and the person who gets free parking usually gets a lot of money 🤣🤣🤣
There are a ton of board games designed this century that have solo modes. Any board game that is played cooperatively can be played solo. Mansions of Madness is a great game for playing solo. Mage knight is widely considered to be the best solo board game around. Also meet up is an app designed to help people with similar interests meet each other. Recently it has been almost taken over by board gamers...although they likely won't want to play Monopoly, but probably a designer game.
People thought I was insane when I was willing to give up 3 properties ,2 railroads and some cash for that one property I needed to complete a monopoly. When the deal was made, I placed 4 houses on each property and starting wiping folks out left and right. It's something about pink and orange, especially orange!
Doing some ROI math you can conclude following additional strategy points: - never buy stations, they have the least rio, worse than the first property (the only reason to do so is to trade and get a color set OR to block another player from the full set) - focus on buying the 2nd color of properties per lane - build hotels in the first half of the board - build 3 houses max on the second half of the board (more properties = more chances of cashing in) - If you can buy a house at 50% at the auction, do so, as it's a zero sum, the mortage is always 50% - When accumulating money, focus on getting 3 houses in one color first, because it gives a huge jump in income (this rule applies to all properties). Once you have 3 houses on 1 color, focus on the next color for 3 houses. If you don't have another color, go upgrade to hotel if it's the first half of the board, else focus on trading to get that new color. - the first house REALLY sucks compared to the rest of the board
With the Tip 10, Usually when i play with friends we add a rule here, if you ar ein jail you can't receive your rents. We didt it because in late game usually we just sit there and the games becomes quite boring and over extend a lot.
I buy only the dark blue and pink ones and max them. The opponent will eventually step on pink, or even better blue and gain more than the money you spent.
if chance card that sends youu to breadwalk has not been drawn for a time, try slowly building houses there, once it is drawn immediately sell those houses and if u want to do what i do, i mortage them too, and possibly sell to other players.
Pls someone listen: I think just visiting and go to jail spaces should be removed. You should just stay in jail if you land on it and not be on just visiting. This would open up another space on the other side of the map for another cool feature instead of go to jail.
My entire family goes for Illinois Avenue since we always land there. In total from about three games, around a total of $13,000 has been made from everyone combined. So when it is bought, we all start arguing lmao
Usually I try to buy brown and light blue properties and give whoever is selling me them an irresistibly high profit, but then I can cheaply put hotels on them and make massive profit
I have an extra tip about when to save cash: Maybe from mid game to late game. Let's imagine you recently completed a color group. You have the capacity for starting to immediately build some houses. Don't use your money yet to buy the houses if all your opponents are still pretty far from your color group. Retain your money until your opponents are approaching your color group ( from 10 to 6 squares away ). If one of those opponents has the next turn, tell him to wait before throwing the dice ( As you said in your video, you can build houses even if it's not during your turn ). Buy the houses and then let him know when you're done. It is likely he will land there because 7 is the most likely number followed by 6 and 8. Another case when to save money is when you already bought some houses and there is also at least one opponent who has a complete color group with some houses. You have money to buy more houses but you are approaching his color group. Don't rush. First try to bypass all his properties of the complete color group he has. If you are from 6 to 10 squares away, it is highly risky to spend your money specially if you wouldn't be able to pay the rent without having to sell your houses to the bank. Hold the cash you have in order to protect your houses in case you get an unlucky roll. In case you get to bypass his color group after rolling the dice, then you can spend money to add more houses in your color group and specially if there is at least one opponent approaching your color group. The idea ( from the moment you have houses in your color group ) is to try to gradually create a cash buffer in order to protect your houses so that you never have to sell your houses to the bank for paying a rent.
I've always thought Reds were the best since I was young, but I never really knew at all. I just thought they had the best balance, since there are 3 of them, they got landed on pretty often, they were in the middle of the board more or less, and they were not super expensive while also providing pretty good payout.
@@BoardGameSanctuary That's true, but watching these monopoly strategy videos really showed me that there is much more strategy than just which properties to buy, and that there isn't just cut and dry reasons to buy or not buy one.
I like to buy out the railroads and utilities. Then I'll try and buy as many properties as I can buy either landing on them or bribing others to get them. If I don't have enough money I will mortgage other properties. It means I will have less money and have to pay to unmortgage them, but I view it as a necessary risk to take. If I had to make an estimate, it has worked for me about 75-80% of the time. Basically Properties > Money in Early game
I won all the games that my sister, dad and I played.Tip always buy the dark blue spaces even if they are expensive,do not be afraid to buy properties because of how much money you need to save just buy buy buy because at the end of the day you can still sell them and if you haven't sold then then someone will still pay for landing at your space.Trust me you will have millions of bucks if you do that.Another thing is if you land in a place that you need to pay for try to not sell your property but instead sell the homes in it so that no one can steal your place when you sell it,like I said dont be afraid to buy buy buy.Thirdly if you dont have money dont be afraid to sell sell selll🤣 even if its painful but remember to sell the houses not the actual property and you will get back on your feet if you do that (if you dont you will surely be bankrupt and lose). If all properties are finished make sure to make someone sell their property to pay you then you should immediately buy his/her property as soon as you land on it to give you more chance of getting the other person to be bankrupt and you getting more money!!!!!Hahahahaha and that is how you win in my opinion I haven't watched this video so if it they use similar tactics it's a coincidence. One other thing if it's a family member or friend dont be afraid to take their money even if they cry.!!!!NO DISCOUNTS!!!.That's what happens to most people then they lose then they bring up the discounts that they gave you then there is a fight then they call you a sore loser.
This was awesome, my partner and I recently bought Monopoly for Nintendo Switch so we are playing it a lot more than we normally would. I have always been terrible at it as i've often ignored the lesser valued areas and gone for the greens and dark blues. Cheers I will try and stick with this.
Paying the 10% of value is sometimes more than $200. It’s hardly less than $200, unless you’re losing. Mortgaging a boardwalk property in order to keep a third house on a monopoly is a much better option than taking the house off. That boardwalk rent is worth only $50, while that house is worth $300+. Mortgaging non-monopoly properties is almost always better than getting rid of houses on your monopoly. The houses have a much better rent and return. But of course, there are always situations that call for flexibility in our strategy
@Caleb N. maybe you misunderstood, I’m talking about mortgaging the other properties, without houses. It is cheaper to mortgage a property than to sell houses on your monopoly. The author said to sell houses. Yet if you have other properties, you can save your houses and mortgage those properties. The 10% fee is part of paying your mortgage off, correct. What I’m stating is that if you have a monopoly with houses on it, it’s better to mortgage your boardwalk property and keep your houses on monopoly. You have higher chances of making better money from your monopoly than just Boardwalk alone..
Thankyou for this video For the last 6 years of my life I have always lost an monopoly game to my mom we have played about 169 rounds hopefully I may win today
the only Monopoly game i ever won was by owning the 3 red spaces & the 4 railway's also, we always use the housrules of -no auctions -incomes go to the center & free parking gets the center money
With 2 players it is best to own light blue and orange, 3 players then orange and red and 4 players green is the best. Also only build 3 houses max on any site thus restricting purchase of houses by opponents. See Hannah Fry on Numberphile who has written a book on the subject.
I’ve had most luck on pink and orange, light blue then red. If anything get pink as soon as possible and get three / four houses on their asap while getting trades to orange or red. With a good bunch of players, you’re probably getting one set. And either way you’re getting either the best 4. Orange, Red, light blue or pink. Keep rolling to make trades, if you’re ending up with other set cards, trade to give up that card to someone else to set them up with a colder set such as yellow, green and blue. Even if you’re trading a 1:1 green / blue for orange or pink, do this asap otherwise you’ll be the one developing colder positions.
Im playing monopoly with my siblings and bro in law, my bro in law plays very evil tho 😂, all of us ended getting bankrupt, i really think he’s playing lies by secretly stealing money first before we play-
I'm not sure about tip no9 to sell houses first. I read many suggest that building houses is crucial so we should mortgage everything just to buld asap.
I have two issues with this. One is buying rail roads. Even though they may be cheap, 400 isn't that much in the late game My second issue is about morgaging. You should all morgage the properties that you only own to stop the oppenent from developing, as the income most likely come back to be equal.
Regarding Chance and Community Chest is it more customary to shuffle at the beginning of the game, and then take from the top, put on the bottom, or to shuffle thoroughly each time someone takes a card? Obviously if you don't shuffle you can get a sense for what has come up and what is likely to come up soon, and if shuffled that possibility is removed, which I'd argue probably makes for a "more even" game.
My basic strategy is get a full deck of red, orange and light blue. By this point it'll usually just be me and another two players left. Then I focus my attention on the more expensive properties, specifically green and dark blue. Finally, I watch my oppenent shrivel up in their crippling defeat.
I personally like the cheaper properties like the light blue ones cuz u can build them up fast I literally got skyscrapers on all of the light blue ones ( I have the mega version of monopoly)
my dad, just played with me.... I lost, then, I got a headache. then I watched this video to learn more strategies and so I can beat my dad 🤣🤣🤣(My Headache went away) thanks so much!
Best strats from someone who played a lot : don’t buy utilities Anything you land on, buy it Oranges and light blue are by far the best Boardwalk is overrated Be ruthless with your trades Cheat Know the cards and how much it costs to build on each property set so you can negotiate better
Some tips: The light blues are one of the bests cards in my opinion. When you wanna buy some house it’s only 50 dollars for each house .- Brown Brown is like the light blues it cost 50 each .
Specially if it's a 6-player game, you can strike early if you get to complete either the brown set or the light blue set soon. And more specially if you are the first player in getting to complete a color group. Both are cheap for fully developing them immediately.
You need to understand that everything you do at a monopoly board, conveys information. You can't be all loosy goosy, eating a sandwich or checking your phone.
Thanks, got a 5 man monopoly game tonight…Wish me luck 🍀 Update: No joke a power cut happened at my brothers house during the endgame…I had only pink street with houses
i love this, this is the best video, your comedy style is on point my guy, i love the top hat guy too, you are a great youtuber, please make more monopoly content!
I have a younger sister, who had 2/3 of the red property colour group, some extra crap that doesn’t matter, and 1/2 the dark blues. I had boardwalk, and offered $1,500 for park place. This was a very risky move, but I built a hotel and every one ine my family landed on it. My sister, who loves to obtain the cheapest property sets, almost went bankrupt, but I cut the price and she offered me the ghetto with the hotels on it. With my corner advantage I happily tied for 1st with my dad
Tip 9 is not true always, if you have a full set of the property, you can mortgage other properties to have more money to build houses, then if you earned a lot, you can easily unmortgage them!
I’ve been wondering about this, so let’s say that I’m doing really well in monopoly and I see my friend struggling with barley any money. Could I give them money in exchange for one of their properties? Because then that way they might accept the offer since they are low on cash. But I dont know if that’s cheating or not because you are not supposed to give players money
Alright, so me, my little brother, my sister and her friend all played Monopoly, but it's the Pittsburgh In A Box game. It's my favorite board game of all time. I have the 3 properties just before Jail, I have the 3 properties right after Go to Jail, and I have all four streets (Blvd of the Allies, Grant Street, Ohio River Blvd, and Forbes and Fifth). At first I thought I was gonna crush everyone, and to a certain degree I still believe that, but at the same time, my sister's friend has the 3 properties right after jail, my brother has the 3 properties just before Fort Pitt Tunnel (free parking) and the 3 properties just before Go to Jail. So technically, they have the good properties, not gonna lie. The odds are a little bit stacked against me. And yes I made a bad trade. My sister's friend had 1 yellow and I had the other 2, and I had the 2 oranges and she had the other 1. (The oranges are just before Jail and the yellows are right after Jail). She wanted my 2 yellows for her 1 orange and I kept refusing. I tried to trade her my 2 oranges for her 1 yellow to which she refused. So in order for me to start building and making money, I decided I'd do the trade she wanted and I'll try to use the streets and my other 2 monopolie to bankrupt her. We haven't finish yet. My sister is almost bankrupt. And my brother is going average. He's not doing bad, he's got 2 monopolies, but with him, when he doesn't have a whole lot of cash to show off, he gets pissy and frustrated because he can't say for sure that he's winning. Anyone want to offer any advice as to how I can win with the situation I'm in?
Orange and Light Blue are your only focus. Pick up Utilities and the two railroads on the left. Everything else should be traded, including full sets. Let the other players waste their money. Use the Auction to drain others money or scoop up properties for cheap. Also in-direct trading is key to not letting people on to what your doing. (I also like to mortgage my properties and try and trade them that way, timing is key)
I wiped out all players by owning dark blue set with hotels today. I ended up taking 2 players sets after they added houses because they couldn't afford to pay me and then I owned all except for 2 sets. I negotiated well and because of capital attained through early investments, I was able to add houses providing me with a strong and steady stream of income which was slowly reinvested into properties. I also made sure I bought one property of each colour and gradually negotiated my way to having 3 sets (1 was brown, 1 light blue and 1 set being dark blue). I had leverage and sold the idea of short term and long term gains to other players. One example of this is saying I don't have enough capital to invest into my dark blue set so it's of no real danger right now, whereas, I can offer 300 for your dark blue card so I have a set and you have more cash to invest in the set you already have. It buys time for you, you have 3 properties within a set which is better odds than my 2 spaces and you can add houses right now while everyone else are still bargaining. This atleast is somewhat balanced especially considering your set has only slightly less earning potential and increased odds of landing to offer safe passage around the board. It gets so tactical haha
I'm just feeling weird after hearing names like Trafalgar Square after I heard awesome names like Boardwalk and B and O Railroad. Also, King's Cross Station doesn't feel weird 'cause I heard it before in Harry Potter.
So is just my family that plays that, when your in jail you can’t collect rent from people. I mean it makes sense, it makes jail a bad place to be in all of the game.
When it comes to tip number eleven, the monopoly rules of my set state that a player must CHOOSE to pay the tax or to pay two-hundred dollars BEFORE calculating a tax. Per the rule book of the Monopoly Classic Edition, “You may estimate your penalty at $200 in cash and pay the bank, or you may pay 10% of your total worth to the bank. Your total worth is all your cash on hand, the printed values of mortgages and un-mortgaged properties and the cost of all the buildings you own. You must decide which option you will take before you add up your total worth.” Perhaps the rules vary, and I could be wrong when it comes down to how people generally play. However, it’s interesting to see how much monopoly sets vary, especially those between the UK and the USA.
Before choosing, you should already have a good idea of what your total amount is. That is if you keep close tabs on your net worth in an ongoing manner throughout the game... so it may not matter too much about whether you choose before or after. Thanks for the clarification though :D

Well that is the most unlikely spot to fall on, it’s really a gamble you want to get it with houses as soon as possible if you want a gamble. You can get a card to go there directly tho, so it is good.
Raafat Fahim my dad did that and I fell on mayfair hotel
fried water SAME my auntie was laughing 💀😭 it was only me that payed her ,, after i bit i got bankrupt because of my sister & uncle
and no one landed on my aunties blue hotels so jokes on her
Great tips!!
My family added our own rules which makes it more rewarding.
1. If you land on 'Go' you get 400
2. If you go to jail 4 times, you are out
3. You don't need to buy houses evenly
4. We bought more houses separately so there is always enough houses
5. If you land on free parking you get the money that goes in the middle from fees and tax
My family and friends only do the 5th thing you do. Idk why but we add income tax money and other stuff from chance and community chest and the person who gets free parking usually gets a lot of money 🤣🤣🤣
Thx I’ll use this for playing against my imaginary friends...

Rento and Rentomania is great for both online and offline co-op and solo. Available for free on play store. 😉
I’ll play with you :)
Bro I swear down this is the snakiest game I've ever played
haha. Wait til you see the cheaters edition...
People thought I was insane when I was willing to give up 3 properties ,2 railroads and some cash for that one property I needed to complete a monopoly. When the deal was made, I placed 4 houses on each property and starting wiping folks out left and right. It's something about pink and orange, especially orange!
I love hearing stories and gameplay's like this. Thanks for sharing!
Doing some ROI math you can conclude following additional strategy points:
- never buy stations, they have the least rio, worse than the first property (the only reason to do so is to trade and get a color set OR to block another player from the full set)
- focus on buying the 2nd color of properties per lane
- build hotels in the first half of the board
- build 3 houses max on the second half of the board (more properties = more chances of cashing in)
- If you can buy a house at 50% at the auction, do so, as it's a zero sum, the mortage is always 50%
- When accumulating money, focus on getting 3 houses in one color first, because it gives a huge jump in income (this rule applies to all properties).
Once you have 3 houses on 1 color, focus on the next color for 3 houses.
If you don't have another color, go upgrade to hotel if it's the first half of the board, else focus on trading to get that new color.
- the first house REALLY sucks compared to the rest of the board
Do you have the source ?
I love the use of probability to show why the reasons are valid, this game really is a work of art
I crushed my friends with the whole bottom half with hotels, utilities and railroads
This guy talked about monopoly like it’s the stock market
With the Tip 10, Usually when i play with friends we add a rule here, if you ar ein jail you can't receive your rents. We didt it because in late game usually we just sit there and the games becomes quite boring and over extend a lot.
I buy only the dark blue and pink ones and max them.
The opponent will eventually step on pink, or even better blue and gain more than the money you spent.
Wait has anybody actually played with that auction rule in place when somebody passes on a property? Sounds like all hell would break loose.
Josh Jones I have not
i actually have once! its absolute mayhem, never do it, unless u wanna have a huge argument with everyone playing
Wait what? People DON’T do that? How does the game end? You’d be going round in circles, literally, if sets couldn’t be completed surely
@@matthewwilliams4569 When I play with people passing on a property is such a rare occurrence that chance rarely comes up in the first place
Josh Jones That’s a very good point actually. That is what tends to happen when we play. It’s not mayhem at all though
That stay on jail tip is game changing honestly...like of course..you can just /stay there/
Buy Boardwalk and park place, build a hotel. You will bankrupt everyone in no time
if chance card that sends youu to breadwalk has not been drawn for a time, try slowly building houses there, once it is drawn immediately sell those houses and if u want to do what i do, i mortage them too, and possibly sell to other players.
Pls someone listen: I think just visiting and go to jail spaces should be removed. You should just stay in jail if you land on it and not be on just visiting. This would open up another space on the other side of the map for another cool feature instead of go to jail.
maybe a new path or board will appear in a future version of Monopoly?
Thank you, last time I played I got demolished.... and now I want to win so badly....
My entire family goes for Illinois Avenue since we always land there. In total from about three games, around a total of $13,000 has been made from everyone combined. So when it is bought, we all start arguing lmao
never fear smart player, but beware of those stupid.
why am i actually making notes
Usually I try to buy brown and light blue properties and give whoever is selling me them an irresistibly high profit, but then I can cheaply put hotels on them and make massive profit
The bad thing about that is if they dont cripple down early, you end up lagging because they had huge profit over you
I have an extra tip about when to save cash:
Maybe from mid game to late game.
Red is pretty good actually and definitely still worth investing it. People are still going to roll 7 twice in a row and land on them.
@@BoardGameSanctuary That's true, but watching these monopoly strategy videos really showed me that there is much more strategy than just which properties to buy, and that there isn't just cut and dry reasons to buy or not buy one.
Thank you, I got absolutely obliterated by my friends & now I have to clap back
I like to buy out the railroads and utilities.
I just beat my dad today. It took 3 hours! But it was the greatest monopoly comeback ever.
00:04 I’m keen on investing in some properties do you have any good suggestions
After all these years i finally mastered the arts of monopoly
I buy the greens and yellows and win 80 percent of the time
Sounds risky!
I feel like a fucking businessman watching this
This was awesome, my partner and I recently bought Monopoly for Nintendo Switch so we are playing it a lot more than we normally would. I have always been terrible at it as i've often ignored the lesser valued areas and gone for the greens and dark blues. Cheers I will try and stick with this.
Orange.. Orange.. Orange.. & Red & light blue too :) Thanks for watching & Enjoy Monopoly on the Switch! :D
07:15 You may have monopolized me in this time but you see I’ll be back with the bigger and better top hat I mean strategy
Since my first game of monopoly I loved the railroads and every time somone takes my railroads and get angry
Osleyda Savignon same!!! my uncle decided to take my station (i always get stations) and i was like congrats you made an enemy
Thankyou for this video
For the last 6 years of my life I have always lost an monopoly game to my mom we have played about 169 rounds hopefully I may win today
I hope you win! Also Thanks heaps! :)
the only Monopoly game i ever won was by owning the 3 red spaces & the 4 railway's
also, we always use the housrules of
-no auctions
-incomes go to the center & free parking gets the center money
With 2 players it is best to own light blue and orange, 3 players then orange and red and 4 players green is the best. Also only build 3 houses max on any site thus restricting purchase of houses by opponents. See Hannah Fry on Numberphile who has written a book on the subject.
1:00 what is it in mega monopoly, with extra dice?
Im playing monopoly with my siblings and bro in law, my bro in law plays very evil tho 😂, all of us ended getting bankrupt, i really think he’s playing lies by secretly stealing money first before we play-
Lmao my family plays in 5 mins and I can hear my brother watching the same video lol
I'm not sure about tip no9 to sell houses first. I read many suggest that building houses is crucial so we should mortgage everything just to buld asap.
I have two issues with this. One is buying rail roads. Even though they may be cheap, 400 isn't that much in the late game
My second issue is about morgaging.
The staying in Jail and income tax tactics are very smart.
My basic strategy is get a full deck of red, orange and light blue. By this point it'll usually just be me and another two players left. Then I focus my attention on the more expensive properties, specifically green and dark blue. Finally, I watch my oppenent shrivel up in their crippling defeat.
Personally I think yellows are better than reds and more people land on Yellows. (At least my friends and family do)
I personally like the cheaper properties like the light blue ones cuz u can build them up fast I literally got skyscrapers on all of the light blue ones
( I have the mega version of monopoly)
Thanks for the tips, although with the kind of people I play with you don’t need any kind of strategy to win
🤣🤣🤣
my dad, just played with me.... I lost, then, I got a headache. then I watched this video to learn more strategies and so I can beat my dad 🤣🤣🤣(My Headache went away) thanks so much!
Best strats from someone who played a lot : don’t buy utilities
Anything you land on, buy it
Oranges and light blue are by far the best
Boardwalk is overrated
Be ruthless with your trades
Cheat
Know the cards and how much it costs to build on each property set so you can negotiate better
How is cheating a strat?
You know that classic monocle that the monopoly guy has
It never existed!
Cameron Gray Mandela effect :D
Casey Haigh 123 Ye, it’s cool eh
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?
What the hell
No, I don't because I remember it correctly while others seem to conflate that humanoid peanut with the Monopoly man.
Some tips:
The light blues are one of the bests cards in my opinion. When you wanna buy some house it’s only 50 dollars for each house .-
Brown
Brown is like the light blues it cost 50 each .
Specially if it's a 6-player game, you can strike early if you get to complete either the brown set or the light blue set soon. And more specially if you are the first player in getting to complete a color group. Both are cheap for fully developing them immediately.
*THATS 10 PERCENT*
Lol I just rob the bank and win the game. But then for some reason my family starts playing without me.
😅
Good tips....Especially the probability if rolling a 6 and 7...I will definitely keep that in mind....,
You need to understand that everything you do at a monopoly board, conveys information. You can't be all loosy goosy, eating a sandwich or checking your phone.
For any Americans watching - Trafalgar Square is Illinois Avenue.
Thank you!!!
I knew dice probably from Craps. I just use it to my advantage here
Thanks, got a 5 man monopoly game tonight…Wish me luck 🍀
Update: No joke a power cut happened at my brothers house during the endgame…I had only pink street with houses
I won family game night thank you so much☺️☺️
i love this, this is the best video, your comedy style is on point my guy, i love the top hat guy too, you are a great youtuber, please make more monopoly content!
Thanks so much Lochlan, your comment just made my day. Much appreciated!
You can win every time by flipping the board over in a blind rage if things arent going your way.!
haha I have definitely wanted to do that many times especially if the game goes for over 3 days.
I just noticed ur shirt. Absolutely love it
I won a game starting the first ten turns with only one utility by obtaining the light blues and browns and building 4 houses on each.
Resume : The oranges are the best
I won with only one hotels on each of the browns and 3 houses on each of the pinks.
Yeah, that is way risky.
But well, the light blue and orange is good for cheap properties
The browns suck
Tip 9 is not true always, if you have a full set of the property, you can mortgage other properties to have more money to build houses, then if you earned a lot, you can easily unmortgage them!
Anyone else beat their family like every time but still watching?
I’ve been wondering about this, so let’s say that I’m doing really well in monopoly and I see my friend struggling with barley any money. Could I give them money in exchange for one of their properties? Because then that way they might accept the offer since they are low on cash. But I dont know if that’s cheating or not because you are not supposed to give players money
That's trading and it's an accepted part of the game
Captain Jacquard ty!
Yes you can, gifting is illegal. What you are describing is a trade
That is allowed. I'd encourage it bc it would take property away from them, taking a toll on their potential rent collections.
Trade is actually the most important part of the game, almost no interest without it.
Defiantly saving this video to rewatch for next time I play
Liked and subbed
People don't pay your rent when they land on your propreties *If you are in jail*
This is one of the best vids I have ever seen, you're awesome!!!!
You must decide which option you will take before you add up your total worth.”
Perhaps the rules vary, and I could be wrong when it comes down to how people generally play.
Thanks for the clarification though :D
i understand this better than my math class
This explains why I won yesterday I owned the red propertys and all the railwaystations
Yes owning all of the railway stations is super powerful its... like having 4/40 of the board state in your favour.
this is literally sheldon copper speaking about the facts about monopoly
Haha I'll take it as a compliment. :)

this is the best tutorial, have a LIKE.
