Do not pull the dog's leg out sideways as they aren't jointed to move that way. Bend the leg up gently at the elbow, tilt the wrist and toes in line with the rest of the leg and in its natural movement.
My greyhound has SLO, an autoimmune disease that attacks the claws. We must keep his paws dry while they heal, and these boots are a life-saver. Any tips for the front legs? The socks seem too short, and the strap presses the thumb claws and hurts him. Should I go one size up for the front legs? Are they longer?
