Fascinating, thank you! I just bought myself a little plant and repotted it today. It felt like a masculine energy when I selected it, fascinating info about the Venus & Mars correspondence, I hadn't thought to look for it in Culpeper's herbal. Good to know it's happy where moss grows, my garden is cold, damp and north facing, a genuine playpark for moss! 💚💚
This was really interesting. I've had my woodruff plant for about a year now. It already started blooming a few weeks ago. I didn't expect it to bloom so early.
pretty plants moss and rocks - that heat vent thing seems like it needs to be disguised somehow like a fence in front of it? my yard has some sweet woodruff stuck in a sunny spot and it survives pretty well, looks awful in winter but bounces back in spring like magic
@@lindalu8565 mine always gets leggy and scruffy in the heat as well, I usually leave mine but cutting it back probably won't hurt too much, especially if you want to harvest it
Yes, I'd imagine it would be. I haven't used it in incense myself but it should have a similar fragrance to sweet grass when burned, as they both get their fragrance from the same biological compound, coumarin
@@TheGardenWitch (not medical advice disclaimer) I have a confirmed bulging disc at l5-s1...not herniated but the cobra pose has helped me so much! Also sleeping with a pillow between my legs bc im a side sleeper
@@flowerpixel I'm a stomach sleeper so that's out, but I have found like you that some of the yoga back poses do help- I like to do cat/cow when it's bad. I haven't been diagnosed with anything related to the spine but that's only because I haven't actually seen my doctor about it (life of a nurse, care for others never yourself 😅)
Weird, I adored it as a kid. It's still used as candy flavouring in Germany.
I’ve grown sweet woodruff for 30 years…Just learned a bundle of info from you! So happy I discovered your channel just yesterday….

Putting up something to hide the heat pumps has been on my bucket list for sure
Great video! I have spreading right in front of some of my windows. It's just starting to bloom :)
Thank you. Great info! 💝
Great video. So kine doesn't get as much water, during the summer it gets leggy and doesn't look as nice as spring. Would you suggest to cut it back?

@@TheGardenWitchgreat suggestion. Thank you!
Would this be safe to incorporate into incense?

@@TheGardenWitch Awesome! Thank you.
My sweet woodruff looks like crap and now I know why, not enough water! 💦
I have sciatica.... it's huge pita gardening.
Yeah the sciatica is a new thing for me, still learning how to not set it off

Does this plant cause sciatica? I never felt anything when I had it as a tea
Not true, we have icepops for children with it, in EU
